  • Which is a selling point for a company as well as testing

  • It's a glitch. In a beta. For feedback to fix the glitch. If it's a selling point, it's a good selling point, because people are gonna see how enjoyable things can be and they see that the community is actively telling Bungie problems to make the official launch as perfect as possible

You would have thought it would have been a good selling point. Unfortunately the gameplay isn't good to a big percentage of the player base. You don't read forums, Reddit or twitter? I can't remember a time playing beta for a game I liked previously and the next versions beta turned me off or so many other fans. Sure some people like it too no doubt but It definitely hurt more than helped.

  • Ok I can see your point there, but they can always fix these complaints at launch which may bring back people that left because of the beta

  • Absolutely they can address some of them. I don't think some of the major stuff can be by release personally. I may buy it eventually if enough changes. Look at how much time I have in D1 I never imagined not buying D2 day one. Think about the new players who haven't played D1. A whole new market that a lot where turned off. They don't actively follow bungie or D2 info. How do you get those players back? Its definitely a harder player base to get back. That's why beta is a selling point and is extremely important to companies. That's why Bungie's PR team went to work trying to save face but a lot of new players will never hear that info.
