First match 2 of my team leave after we lost the first round. Second match again 2 of my team leave after we lost the first round. Third match my team is doing good, but then lose one round and 1 leaves. Sigh

Edited by aboniks: 7/24/2017 10:59:11 PMPeople get tired of sitting around dead, waiting. As many matches as I've played of countdown, I've never once had a teammate revive me. It's a basic function of the game type, and it's universally ignored, in my experience. New players drop in to see how the game works and spend most of their time dead, so they leave. Why stay? They don't get to learn the map, or the mechanics, and from their point of view the team they're on ignores their existence, because the team is (hopefully) playing an objective that leaves no time to revive anyone. Countdown just isn't a game designed to appeal to very many people. You're going to see a whole lot of people giving up on it. Frankly it's not a very well designed game period. Creating the expectation that we'll be revived and then adding a timer that virtually ensures people won't bother to revive us (unless we're playing with a stacked clan roster, which most people aren't), was a mistake. It's also not particularly "high intensity" for most players, whatever that's even supposed to mean, because they end up doing a whole hell of a lot more pew pew in control than they ever will in countdown. Bad match design, bad description, offered to people who have another option that they can choose instantly with no repercussions.
