Destiny 2 Beta Early Access when bought through the game??? NOT
The family has been on vacation and upon our return we see the Beta has been extended. My daughter is excited to find that she can still pre-order the game and get the early access. She buys it and now it states she cannot get the Beta. Hello Bungie! Take down the button in the Solar System of the game because it states you can buy it and STILL get early access.
Bungie, you have got to be more organized!

1 ReplyThere is still a PC Beta coming in August. The link in the Director will remain activated as such until after that point, since anyone from any console can order the PC version as well. The extension is for prolonged testing of existing issues. The Beta client expired on the game services at the end of the normal Beta period. From the 21st to the 23rd, ([i]and now with expanding the time frame[/i]) no pre-order was required in the first place ... it was an Open Beta during that time. Pre-Order was only for early access to the Beta. That was made pretty clear since they even announced the D2 Beta(s). Since it is a pre-order, you can contact XBL to cancel it - however, most people only pre-order something if they are actually interested in, and want, the product.
