not necessarily, bungie most likely carried over some if not most, of the damage nerf's to the weapon types in destiny 1 therefore more guardians wouldn't exactly mean much faster killing. the damage nerf's were very noticeable in destiny 1, and the low damage output in this build is just as noticeable.

Yeah I get that, believe me I do. I'm still pissed about the weapon system changes. It's utterly stupid for pve, this is coming from someone with a stupid amount of time in d1 crucible!

the weapon system is bad, regular fusion rifle's should be moved to energy weapon slot. i tried it in pvp but only 1 or 2 of the projectiles hit and it barely did any damage. the spread is too wide and it just doesn't have the damage of what power weapon's should have.

I think it is hit or miss due to the beta servers. I destroyed some players from a reasonable distance and then only took half health away from others at point-blank range. It should be noted though that the ones it barely damaged were on a team that was impossible to kill anyway and mercy ruled (destroyed really) my team in control. I would like to think that it was a server issue and lag, not that the opposing team was cheating. I mean, what kind of low-life, low self esteem, idiots would need to cheat in a beta? Had to be lag.

cheaters have no boundaries, beta or not if there's a chance to cheat they'll take it.

You might just have to accept you are really bad with it then... I saw several videos of people absolutely wrecking (even from a distance) with that fusion rifle in PvP (and I destroyed shit with it in PvE myself); if anything it was actually over powered; which I'm fine with (unless you were using something other than the 'Main Ingredient' Fusion Rifle, but that's the only one I've encountered in the beta.)
