I see what you are saying however I disagree with it working well. Sure in a strike within a good close clan it would probably be fine but, what about matchmaking teams, who then, we are all in it for ourselves. I may not need the helmet but it would be good for infusion and I have the gun or don't want it etc. having rng does extend game play for some who don't play often so they get max light and beat a few raids etc. for a player like me who plays several hours a day I may want specific rolls or things like that and rng is just a way to fill up my vault. I hear you but don't see a good way to appease both casuals and grinders and keep the game equitable.

  • In matchmatching mode you have it set to auto distribution with ability to trade with the owner of your team for a set amount of minutes before gear is locked. You could just apply that to the nightfall and raids and then it would work itself out. But I get what you mean about keeping gear for infusion but yes in a clan setting it would be more beneficial for my teammate to have the raid gear than it would be for me to just infuse with. That's just my thought process...and personally even if we had a random person we picked up I would hesitate to give that person some loot they would need instead of just having my clan be greedy. I know not all would be like that but just howni see things.
