Beta Crashing and Freezing PS4 Pro
Since day one, of this Beta I have had it freeze constantly in the first mission. I usually make it to Zavala and a few tries to the pick-up point for Amanda Holiday. I did have one Character make it through, a Titan, but froze on the strike and crucible.
I have re-initialized my PS4 Pro, and just finished a live chat with Sony. Sony had me 'Restore Licenses', and I managed to play the first mission with my hunter, who froze all the time. I am not saying this is a fix, since the hunter did freeze in the last round of Completive.
I have never had the Checkered Bar, that is a hardware issue, you should contact Sony.
Never had Moose, enemies always spawn.
Not Russian.
The picture is always clear, sound cuts out as it freezes, takes a few minutes to go to the Sony error screen, Slow frame rate at times after the freeze, and I have had to do about 5 hard resets on my system.

1 ReplyI did not call, I did a live chat with Sony. I was directed to open Network/Account Management scroll down to Restore Licenses, and restore licenses. It has worked so far, played two strikes with my hunter, no freezing. jffhrdy42 I don't know why they would ask you to contact Activision. But some of this is software related, and Activision is the disrupter of Destiny.

I have had freezes during the 3 waves and in the last area where you get teleported to the ship, but never once i reach the cabal ship. Update: i installed tomb raider, set resolution to 4k and instant lockup just like destiny 2 so have requested a repair. Looks like alot of faulty ps4 pros.

1 ReplySounds exactly like my experience with the beta! I have managed to get through the story mission twice but can't complete it on a warlock at all. I've had freezes in the cucible and even twice on the farm yesterday. I've had to do a similar number or hard resets too. All my friends have ps4s and have had no problems.
