I'm not saying make strikes 8 players and I understand they want strikes and other activities to play a certain way. They have every right to adjust player count per activity. My point is just about every activity requires a different amount of players and it will be a bit awkward come reset day with 3 people for nightfall, 4 for pvp and 6 for raids. They encourage cooperative play but make every activity have a different player count and it kind of works against their own vision imo. And for patrol I don't see any reason why I can't grab 7 other friends and go blast things. If a patrol area can hold up to 8 people or whatever the limit is, why can't they all be in the same fire team?

  • I agree with there being a sense that it can be difficult to seamlessly transition from one activity to the other. If at some point they implement a strike playlist that is tailored for larger 4+ groups (up to 6) and possibly allow up to six people to match-make for Crucible, then I think those problems would be resolved. If they made it so that if 6 people match-made in the 'quickplay' arena, and just had the extra two be put into the enemy team I would be fine.

  • All good options to remedy that. See what I'm saying? There's plenty of options and additions that could be made to creating a fire team or matchmaking yet we still have limitations that can be easily fixed.
