Same here. Playing videogames since the 90's and have seen sequels to games doing worse lr even changing entirely.
Destiny 2 still feels like a Destiny, the core aspects are there (space magic), the fantastic artstyle and environments are there, the amazing soundtrack is there as well, the gunplay feels just as good asin D1 (even though they gave us some guns not fitting for both modes and some need some tweaks) and for the first time even PvP somehow works and requires a good mindset and teamwork, something you should always do when playing in teams, regardless of the fact if you play as a party or not. Hopefully it will teach some randoms a less ego like playstyle instead of complaining here and say it's shit. Otherwise why should someone play a team based shooter/mode in the first place.
As a Hunter main the new Arcstrider is amazing and combines all special moves from the Bladedancer super + has a fist of havoc, lol.
The Gunslinger felt a lil bit different but mainly because the more PvE directed path is locked. And what the path has is a 3 shot Golden Gun with the ability to crit(!). Really looking forward to it.
Same with the Nova Bomb. The slow Bomb is caused by a perk, not the Bomb in general. Way too many people seem to overlook that.
Anyways, lookimg forward to the release. :)
