We know the beta will be much more limited than the D1 beta, but there's still a lot of D2 info being shown this month. Do you like seeing all the info dumps or are you a player that likes to be surprised and experience everything as you go?

All of it. Should have been a load of cinematic trailers, a couple of ViDocs, beta, trailers, final ViDoc, game. Pretty much how they done it with Reach. But that's just my preference. ☮️

How many podcasts about the same destiny content is too much?
-
What info. Almost everything ign has shown or talked about is old news to me
-
i am over it. bungie has lost my faith and i prob won't buy this game even after everything has been released.
-
Reveal info is for people that are afraid to explore and discover for themselves.

Edited by D34N0000: 7/18/2017 12:36:10 PMIts funny I'm split on this question. What has been revealed soo far has seriously put me off. The only news that has been positive at all, are the mods on weapons. But to be honest I'm not that excited by that as it will be very simple. So at this point I'm seriously looking for info that shows destiny will scratch any of my itches, yet pretty much all of puts me off. But I'm still not sold, if you are. yeah I don't know why you're spoiling things lol.

I quit looking. I only care about the nitty gritty. (did I say that right?). Vault space, weapons, perks, activity available.. etc. Might as well wait for the game to come out, rather than the you-tuber talk for 10 minutes about nothing. That and the game play just looks so darn boring.
-
It does not really matter how much they reveal. It is crazy easy to avoid the information if you do not want to know about it.
-
After being let down severely by vanilla D1, there is no amount of pre-release information on D2 that would be "too much". I want to know exactly what I'm getting into before I buy this game this time around. You people who pre-ordered are out of your minds. I'm going to sit back, see what others have to say about the quality/length of the campaign, then find out what people are saying about the end game content. If it's nothing more than "Groundhog Day in Space: Part 2", you can count me out.
-
personally i have strayed away from this destiny 2 "news". most of it is actually just speculation and leaks, and as for the stuff that actually is true and confirmed- i would rather experience the game for myself
-
No amount is too much, because I can choose to not look at the reveal info.
-
I prefer to go in basically blind. That is where the fun is, figuring things out.
-
I am trying to avoid destiny 2 info this time around.
-
When they start putting in nudes lol
-
I haven't been watching the videos. Most of my reveal will be during the beta.
-
If I can be real with you all, I feel that the amount of info we are getting from Bungie is pretty solid in terms of keeping a vast majority of the game secretive. We don't actually know a lot of things about the game, just that there are new changes and additions to almost everything. The interesting thing of note is that we know more about Crucible than we do about PvE; Bungie are definitely in the mindset that, because PvP has no overall effects on the story or the game world outside of loot, we can be told a bunch of info in regards to that game mode. I'm certain that there will be a vast majority of players who will be surprised by the discoveries they will make in the game, from story elements to the rest of the Exotic gear that have yet to be revealed.
-
I think they are showing too much.
-
the beta will probably show 80% of the full game
-
Id like to see less so I can get excited when I find new things. Back in vanilla D1 I found my first fusion rifle from a gold chest on the moon and was so excited when I figured out now to use it.
-
Bungie needs to stop right now. I don't want or need any more info. Hell, I would have been happier with just a little game play footage. I don't want to know or see everything before I play.
-
i'd much rather them, not tell us anything until beta, drop what they did... and then be hush hush until the game releases
-
Why not appease both... show more (you know.. so you are not in the dark) But also MAKE more so you are only seeing 1% of the game... instead of 25% ..
-
Welp IGN is straight up patroling Nessus. I'm definitely not watching that video.
-
bloody good question. hard not to with the community we have. in saying that it is irritating that there is not really much im going to get to experience and just go wow thats so cool. (like the 1st destiny mission they showcased)
-
Avoiding info dumps is more a dream than a reality. I try to watch as little gameplay as I can. I do enjoy the comfort of knowing what I'm going to be purchasing however.
-
Gamers expect way too much. Then we feed that with info tidbits, which are then dissected and over blown, by the time the game releases it can do nothing else but disappoint.
