When did Value ever get accused of not enforcing their own policies or being too lax on cheaters?
And you do know that 40K was across a multitude of titles and not just a single game.

Does Value go out of their way to always communicate how many accounts are banned on a daily or weekly occurrence? No they don't. And what does posting an article about Value conducting the largest single day ban have to do with Bungie or Destiny?

He's drawing a comparison with the way that Valve handles cheating vs Bungie. This is actually extremely relevant. It illustrates the following: 1. There is a lot more cheating than people would like to believe. 2. Even though it might not be true, the Destiny community has the impression that Bungie doesn't take this issue seriously. 3. There is no room to to interpret how Blizzard, Valve, or Capcom handles cheating/exploiting. Personally, I would like to see Bungie handle cheating the way that Valve does, swift, transparent, and final.

Hurphy is using as context for bungie being slack with the ban hammer
