I don't usually make these types of threads but I thought this would be an *ahem* entertaining discussion.
So basically if you haven't heard yet earlier today news got out that some CNN producer was caught on video saying the Trump colluding with Russia story was "mostly bulls***", or in other words, fake news. The video can be viewed pretty much anywhere on the internet at this point.
Of course, all the right wing news outlets have lambasted CNN following this revelation and President Trump himself released a tweet concerning the matter, saying that CNN's 'fake news' was responsible for some drop in ratings(which isn't real either).
Up until this point the network has said little regarding the video, but there are reports that they are dropping the story, which they've been actively covering for months now.
What do you guys think of these recent developments? As for me I kinds saw this coming, the story didn't seem all that legit to me.
Updated with link. It was the most recent one I could find.
Update: 3 CNN employees have resigned in the fallout of this debacle, it's reportedly related to a story regarding a presidential advisor having some secret deal with Russia that turned out to be false.
