Good luck with that.
I have literally spend all weekend posting in LFG offering to help inexperienced teams and nothing. There is just nobody out there playing.
There are barely a few posts looking for experienced people and that's about it
And I offered my help both on PS4 and XBOX1, same result on both

I feel like the biggest problem would be that nobody wants to run it with noobs. I see maybe one or two people join posts like this and that's it because everybody wants to do it as quickly as possible and no one wants to spend time teaching people what to do. And some people who don't know what to do are afraid to say so until they get called out.

Edited by TrueApollo: 6/12/2017 12:21:46 AMFor sure, it's daunting to people who have never done it. I never see posts on LFG websites saying, "Running VoG, you can take as long as you need to learn the fights." Like you says, everyone is saying, "400 only must have sleeper and gally equipped at the same time and must know the wind speed velocity of an African swallow." Noobs just don't want to deal with that

I'll be honest...going into raids at this point is probably pretty intimidating for a lot of players. Everyone moves/learns at a different pace so obviously those of us who have yet to become raiders are slower than most. At this point, most raiders know their sht... Speaking for myself, it isn't about mechanical inability so much as it is just wanting to play the game for fun. I have only ever used LFG to try one raid. It was a terrible experience. Players joining, leaving, joining, needing synths, inaudible children screaming...in other words, virtually no communication and a lot of chaos. Not good for the PTSD. I did tag along with a group of sherpas from these forums in the old VoG about a year ago. I didn't have to do much but that one time was an amazing experience in this game for me. With all of that being said, it's cool to see you guys doing this. It's a good representation of what this game should be about. The old vets leading the grunts is the way it should be. ;)

Agree with all of this. That's why I was so surprised when Bungie said 50% at their reveal. But you're right, people who haven't done it at this point are probably pretty daunted by the whole thing. Even a better reason to help them out, and create a larger pool for D2. Thanks for the support!

I need to run crota again for the necro.

Really? I've had great luck finding groups, I've already run probably 25 newer Guardians through multiple raids in just a few days. I haven't used any LFG site, just the LFG feature on Xbox One, and Mixer
