Let me be honest with you..

I didn't Pre-Order D1 or D2 for PvP. I didn't really care if they had them or not. I'm not really into Competitive shooters that much like I used to be. D1 got me interested because I love playing MMOs. Knowing that Team Bungie had come up with this was pretty cool. (Played a lot of Halo in my younger days.) When it comes to playing MMOs I never cared at all to do PvP. I tried a lot but, it wasn't my cup of tea. If anyone has played FlyFF (Fly For Fun) I did PvP on there back in the early days of the MMOs life. I mostly enjoy playing MMOs or games like it for the "Loot". I love hunting for rare things and collectables. This is the reason why I enjoy playing Destiny for this reason. There is always some type of weapon or armor to hunt for or grind for and I really enjoy that. As for Destiny PvP, I mostly only play it to collect loot. When I play I do try very much to keep a good K.D just because. I don't "try" to be a PvP player but, my CoD comes out of me. I mostly play when I want something like Iron Banner Weapons/Armors. Reason why I am blabbering about all this is because, I don't see Destiny as a PvP driven game. That is the reason why I feel like a black sheep to friends and the community because I rarely have any complaints..I did some thinking, maybe I want to think its fun? Well, if you knew me you would say that I don't stick to a game very long. Well, it has been from D1 Beta till D2 gameplay reveal that I have played Destiny. That is a huge feat for someone who gets bored of playing the same game. So no I enjoy playing. I can't really point out why I enjoy playing Destiny. I enjoy the whole game and respect it as it is. Q & A Q. If I had to pick one reason why I like destiny? A. Loot. Q. One honest complaint? A. I had to pay twice for DLC. (Xbox 360 to Xbox One, That was my desicion to pay for it though.) Q. Why havn't I played Destiny 1 after Destiny 2 GamePlay Reveal? A. Well, I did a lot in D1. So I feel like I needed a break so I can come back into D2 and be refreshed and awake to hunt for that Loot. Final Thoughts- I don't see a lot of honest posts on the forums. All I see is how people hate this feature or that "Nerf" (It isn't a nerf if it needed to be fixed.) Why hate a game so much and still play it? Why complain about a game so much and still Pre-Order it? Why go through the trouble of writing a detailed post or a 5 word post about your complaints and hates and still load up into a raid or match? Because you enjoy the game. Have a great day everyone and give me some of your honest thoughts, or not. (I am at work, bored. So entertain me please.) Edit: 1.)To the few of you saying destiny isn't a MMO. Coming from a person who plays mostly MMO games on all platforms, destiny has very strong mmo elements. So if you want to say it isn't that is fine too. To me, it's one of those "opinion" type things. 2.)To the honest salt-free feedback, you guys are scholors and gentlemen/ladies. It is nice to see people here who can talk about a touchy topic with common sense and respect. 3.) Everyone else, I hope we all can see eye to eye one day.

  • It's a love/hate thing. When you are passionate about something, you tend to be more volatile about it. Just like real life relationships. Reminds me of my ex-wife. We had some really bad arguments, said horrible things to each other and it was a powder keg at times. She was also the most wonderful, passionate and intense lover I ever had. I guess one extreme can cause another. I too have a love/hate thing going with Destiny. There are a lot of things that tick me off in PvP, but I still keep playing it. When it's good it's really good. There have been many times were I was very satisfied and happy with the PvP experience and it gives me a lot of things that I crave about gaming. I love customization, perks, loot, look and feel and the suits of armor. PvP is also very challenging and it makes me want to be better. My love for the game also makes me more picky about it. I notice every little flaw and annoyance. When it's bad, I can't stand it.
