Re-installed game on Xbox One and characters are now gone
A month ago I uninstalled Destiny to make room on my Xbox One. Today, I re-installed the game and my two characters are now missing. Any other game that I have un-installed/re-installed on my Xbox has saved the data of the game. I don't understand why the data is gone on this one.
I need my characters back. My brother's titan had been boosted to level 40 after we bought the Rise Of Iron expansion (i think it was that one) soooo...is that just $60 down the drain?
I understand that Bungie does not recover deleted characters. But we did not manually delete these. Infact they should still be on the game because I only re-installed it!
Really hoping this can be resolved otherwise Bungie has just lost a loyal customer. Thanks.

Your characters are not stored on your Xbox. It sounds like you orphaned your account by using a different log in. If this is the case you have lost them for good. If you still have your original log in, try that.
