This Week at Bungie (05/25/2017) Cleared Up the Dedicated Servers Situation
Bungie is not going full peer to peer in destiny 2, but a hybrid of peer to peer and client-server.

55 RepliesIf this hybrid is better than the current system, why did they downgrade pvp from 6v6 to 4v4? You're telling me net code is improved, yet pvp is downgraded. Yeah... that makes sense. The truth is staring you in the face folks. 4v4.
