What, did your original post about not caring about dedicated servers fail you?
-
Meh, for Destiny I really don't care. It's not a real full fledged mmo, so the lack of servers or even a single "mega server" doesn't really matter in the long run. It would be nice, and bring a lot more opportunity for a better game not only in connections but also in content, but Destiny never was on par with the great mmos, and probably never will be. At the end of the day Destiny is an mmo lite, so it makes sense for them from a business perspective considering Destiny was a home run financially. It still sucks for us, and a fully fledged mmorpg/shooter hybrid would be amazing, but it is obvious that Bungie isn't the developer to deliver this.

you are the reason hell exists.
-
Nice try Luke Smith, you've be outed again!
-
Methinks Bungie would like to keep their profit margin higher, for themselves. Sad to see no dedicated servers....
-
Dedicated servers > 60 fps. Simply because dedicated servers would mean a lot less pain in the ass errors
-
The only way this post would get likes is if all Bungie and Activision employees were on the forums.

Edited by CaffeinatedComa: 5/28/2017 12:12:59 AMI'm a PVP only player. The difference, however, is that I want you to have your raids, your strikes, your clan, your activities and everything that goes along with it. I just won't be raiding with you. I've no desire to have you not enjoy this game. Reciprocate. Edit: b1tch boi edited his post.

i dont care much about 30 / 60fps as long as its stable and theres no drop but... sry, but ANY kind of server should be standard by now, especially in 2017. we dont live in the 80s anymore, lan partys are over. bungie and especially activision got more than enough money to make servers / dedicated servers possible.

Step right up! Prove your ignorance!

Lol 0 likes. Good

you do know PvE runs on P2P also ?

Edited by Radahn: 5/25/2017 3:34:21 PMYou are an idiot if you dont care about dedicated servers.....not only would it benefit pvp....it would free up the limited cpu and thus making 60fps possible.....this just shows how little the community knows about what dedicated servers are capable of.
-
Downvoted. 1. For not understanding that dedicated servers also benefit PVE 2. Creating yet another "like" post.
-
I'm really happy this thread has more dislikes then likes, but it also shows how people with dumb opinions are louder as they are more dedicated to shoving their opinion in your face.
-
You are either a real idiot or you are hopefully just kidding.
-
I really wish you could see negative numbers for down votes. This post would be even more funny.
-
You realize it affects PVE when you play with people outside your continent too, right?
-
Bad edit, bad bait...
-
Well there was an interview done recently where they addressed this issue. They do kinda have Dedicated Servers. It's a hybrid of some sort.
-
I don't give half a crap about PvP, but the lack of dedicated servers is still unsettling.
-
Not having dedicated servers in a game that is online 100% of the time is retarded.
-
This post is sad
-
Have you played trials in a global lobby before. It is quite literally the worst thing you can ever experience, with shooting through walls, 4 second delayed sniper crits, and survival of grenades even when they stick. The profit margins before the beta are already so high that they could get these servers and still make a massive profit, yet they choose to forfeit the gameplay and simply change PVP to hopefully deal with this instead. Why do people still support these decisions, when the only way that the game can improve is if people just wait before preordering to see if Bungie is capable of listening to us?

We care

Lmao you have negative likes. I'm pretty sure everyone and their grandma cares About p2p
