Introduction- Dominus Ghaul the leader of the red legion launches a perfectly executed attack on the tower. As a result of the attack guardians are left crippled, without our light and a place to call home. Beginning of the story- Following the attack we are confused and lost without our leaders. The remaining members of humanity elect us to lead. We are unsure at first, but we successfully return hope back to the people. Unable to sleep that night, we have an overwhelming urge to gaze into the sky. As we looked up we saw a comet shooting across the sky. As we followed the comet our eyes were locked on to an object in the distance. Immediately we head off to the unusual object. As we near ever closer we could feel life returning to our bodies. As we finally reach the mysterious object, we feel at home. We inch ever closer to lie a hand on the object. When we reach out, we could see another hand reaching for ours... and we grab it. Instantly we see a vision about how this is a part of the traveler and how it ended up here. We also receive hints of where to find our missing vanguard. Middle of the story- With help from our fellow guardians, we are able to locate 3 different planets in which our vanguard are stationed. After hearing this information we travel to Titan to meet Commander Zavala. After explaining to Zavala that we have rekindled our light, Zavala regains hope and returns to Earth to lead. Next we arrive on Nessus where we meet with Cayde 6. Cayde reveals interesting information that the Cabal have been digging on Nessus in search of something unknown. After we find out all we can on Nessus Cayde heads back to Earth to meet Zavala and set up a counter attack. Finally, we head to IO where we meet Ikora Rey. Ikora says she feels a strong connection with light here. Ikora said she was able to recover little reminiscence of when she was first learning how to use her light. Then you notice the same hand that reached out to you on Earth. You reach out once again, and same as last time you receive a vision. This time it was showing you how to unlock hidden potential. As you focus your light you unlock a new variation to your light(the new subclasses). Ikora thrilled with this information returns to Earth to spread this new found power. End of story- As you return the optimistic attitude was not present. Zavala calls a meeting with all the vanguard and you. Zavala has explained that Ghaul has threatened our system with a super weapon. The information to build this weapon was stolen technology from the Vex machine world Nessus. Zavala sends you on a mission to gather more information. You find out that the super weapon gathers energy from mass and converts it into a highly concentrated blast that had the power to destroy our sun... and Ghaul is doing just that. Ghaul is speeding up the process of our sun dying causing it to explode and destroy our star system. Raid- We relay Zavala this information and he sends us with 5 other guardians to shut down their operations directly. We then get to see the devastating weapon. A massive beam already shooting straight into the sun. Our clock for survival is ever ticking away. We board the weapon and take arms. We fight our way through many objectives and mysterious challenges. As we make our way to Ghaul's throne we realize our time is almost up. The weapon is minutes away from being fully charged. After a miracle we were able to bring Ghaul to his knees and make him beg for mercy. After listening to his pleads we let our guard down. In an almost instant motion Ghaul smashes the control center making the weapon unstable, and disappear without a trace. Quickly we summoned our ships, and just as we started flying the sun exploded. In an intense flight simulation our guardians have to dodge and weave through space debris and other obstacles, while also escaping the massive supernova. After the story- We make a miraculous escape, but due to the tremendous heat our ship short circuits cutting off all power. Our ship makes a downhill spiral towards a planet crash landing on the surface. After being kicked out for a few days we wake up in a strange house. We walk around a bit, then we hear a voice."I see you have woken up, I am Osiris, pleased to finally meets you." The End So that's basically my crazy imagination about Destiny 2's story.
