the game isn't even good imo. i rarely play, and prefer mercy or the robot from venture bros.

On one hand you're not being a team player if you're not switching up to heroes that suit the situation. On the other hand, it's a real dick move to report you for that; it's a game, and unless it being played professionally for money, you can do whatever the hell you please.

Why would you be playing comp Overwatch? It's not even a good competitive game and the community is insufferable.

Never underestimate the power of a comfort pick. Certain heroes may not be perfectly suited to a specific situation but it's better to have a mildly useful character that can be played at a high level than a theoretically very useful character that can be played at a mediocre level if that makes any sense. Only after I see a particular character performing poorly will I consider asking for a change.

I remember being in a match and we were getting stomped. Our Lucio switched to something else so I figured I'd help out and switch to Lucio. Before the next round our Zarya sent me a private message saying "off Lucio." I took this as they wanted to play Lucio so I switched to Reinhardt. Zarya then switched to Junkrat. I wasn't having that so I switched back to Lucio and got another message "off Lucio" F that noise I told myself and stayed as Lucio. We came back to win all the following rounds and the match. I got the card for 11 environmental kills. The guy messaged me after the match... "guess not. gg"

It is the most annoying thing in overwatch. "Auto picks dps" "hey (name) pick mercy" Or "We need a mercy" "I have almost no time on mercy" "Pick her anyways". "What are you doing! How are you so bad at mercy! Why don't you know what you are doing" People need to stop relying on mercy Rez to make up for their poor gameplay.

Wait, I'm confused. Does being the hardass result in the ban, or does not complying with the hardass give you the ban?

If you aren't prepared to play healer yourself, don't moan at the person who chose to be your healer.

In one way you need a balanced set of characters but in another you need people playing to their strengths.
