Please stop with the "other games do 60fps" nonsense.

It's getting ridiculous now. All I'm seeing on here is people who don't know what they are talking about getting mad because other games (try to) run at 60fps. Let's take Battlefield 1 as the example because that seems to be all people are spouting on about: 60fps... the game barely manages to maintain anything close to that. Regularly dips as low as 30-40fps. It's frame rate dips so much the game just feels wrong even on PS4 Pro. It also uses dynamic resolution, which when the frame rate gets too low, makes the game look like sh*t in order to try and keep the fps high enough to not feel broken. Now you may find this difficult to see through your salt encrusted eyes but Destiny has always been graphically intense. And that doesn't just mean high resolution textures, before you start harping on about that too. The particle and lighting effects on Destiny are fantastic and look even better on Destiny 2. But there is a LOT of them, due to the space magic nature of the game. Destiny 1 is probably the smoothest most enjoyable 30fps experience I've had in a long time and hopefully Destiny 2 continues that trend with smoothness of feeling over attempting to run at 60fps. There's also the issue, that most you you seem to be forgetting... Parity: If the PS4 pro could run the game at 60fps But the PS4 could run the game at 30fps... Guess what guys, you're all getting multiplayer at 30fps regardless. Sony's Pro T&C's won't allow different frame rates in multiplayer games. (Quite rightly too) I'll take a smooth 30fps (something Bungie are clearly very very good at making smooth and a joy to play) over 60fps with rate drops and graphical fidelity drops all day long. Your games console is NOT as powerful as the marketing you have clearly been fooled by is making you think it is. Dedicated servers though.... that's a story for another day.
