for destiny 2, can we transfer characters between Xbox One and PS4 or we will have to make separate accounts on both

Hello, In Destiny 1, you are not able to transfer progress between platform accounts. https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12219 Currently, it is unknown if you will be able to transfer progress in Destiny 2. In my opinion, it is highly unlikely.

As it stands now, Destiny does not support "cross-platform gaming". You will have to make a new account for the new console. https://www.bungie.net/7_Does-Destiny-support-cross-platform-gaming/en/Help/Article/12219

Edited by Tosh: 5/22/2017 4:57:01 PMYou cannot character transfer characters between consoles in Destiny 1. I'm sure it's safe to assume you wont be able to in Destiny 2 either. You can go from PS3>PS4 and XBOX360>XBOX ONE but not Playstation>XBOX.
