Just Hire Nigel and give him his own office & NPC

As an Enormous Fan of the Ishtar Commander App for Item/Inventory Management I honestly can't wait to see what Nigel H. (The App.'s creator) does with his D2 iteration, unless Bungie/Activision decides to try and capitilize on this concept. I was just on lunch at work thinking about this and its possibilities. So I wanted to bring this to the communtity's attention. Do you want Bungie to have its own supported App for Destiny 2 which would undoubtably have advertisements and some scheme to sell you silver in-game. Or do you feel they should allow, if not encourage 3rd parties to continue doing what they do so well. Or should they Just Hire Nigel and give him his own office and maybe an in-game NPC to link him to the story lol Sounds silly sure but This would be amazing and I fully support it. I know this may seem dumb but with how magical and amazing my experiences have been with these Apps I just wanted to voice the possible concern of lossing what has been Destiny's Best non-Bungie Feature IMO.

  • I don't see why they wouldn't allow and endorse 3rd party apps, they did for the life of D1 and even pointed people toward 3rd party apps when they asked for things like matchmaking and inventory mangement solutions. That said, Bungie really should be trying to have the best apps available, it's not a good look to have been shown up by 3rd party apps for the life of D1...
