Would you buy more than one copy of Destiny 2 if it supported cross-saving?

So I read that there are rumors (not confirmed) that there may be cross-saving for Destiny 2. For those of you who don't know this means that if you have Destiny 2 on PS4 and PC, you'd have the same game data on both platforms. Therefore your characters, equipment, and any other game data appear on both platforms.
This would NOT mean that a PC player can play with a PS4 player, this just means that you can pull up your character on both platforms.
My question is, would you buy the game on more than one platform if this was an option? I think if this was true this would be a great way for Bungie to profit from Destiny 2 sales.
Why would someone buy more than one copy? Console copies will run at 1080p and max out at 30 fps. PC version is at least 60fps, and will probably run higher than 1080p, maybe even 4k. This is a HUGE difference in graphics and power for Destiny 2.
I would buy both versions because I have PS4 friends who don't have a powerful computer but who I would still like to raid/play crucible with. When I'm not playing with them, I would play on PC to enjoy the superior graphics and gameplay with my friends who do have gaming PC's.
