So my question is this:
I've been waiting years for Destiny 2 to be released on PC. I play PC because I don't wish to pay Sony or Microsoft a subscription fee to play online on their networks. I wanted to pre-order Destiny 2 for PC, but the Digital Deluxe Edition is marked as "sold-out/coming soon) on the pre-order page. How is a digital version of a game sold out...?
If I pre-order Destiny 2 for PS4, which is the platform I played all of Destiny 1 on, can the benefits and pre-order bonuses I get be transferred to PC if I buy the game for PC as well? Say I wanted to transfer my bungie guardian/account from the Playstation platform directly to PC, can that be done with my account, or am I going to have to start completely from scratch just because PC is a different platform?
If so, why is that the case when all of my bungie.net character information and accolades are accessible from the website? Other games like Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 have already demonstrated this process as possible, transferring accounts and everything from console to PC due to account info being stored online.

Alright, so a couple things on this:
but the Digital Deluxe Edition is marked as "sold-out/coming soon) on the pre-order page. How is a digital version of a game sold out...?
There isn't information out just yet on this, stay tuned for official Bungie announcements. If it's like Destiny 1, then this wouldn't be possible as pre order bonuses are redeemed through a platform account (XBL/PSN). But like I said, we don't have any of this in regards to Destiny 2, have to wait and see. Definitely recommend sticking to their official channels such as Destinythegame.com, help.bungie.net, @Bungie or @BungieHelp on Twitter.
