Greetings from Guardians in the Son! We are a Christian-based clan, although you don't have to be a Christian to join, but we do have a few guidelines that are listed in our forum under "Clan Guidelines" so that game play is clean, which is what our members are usually hoping to find! To summarize, no profanity, vulgar language or gestures, or disrespect of other people is allowed in our clan, because we realize it's a game--not our whole life, so treating people with respect and dignity is a higher purpose and value. Our purpose for the clan is to glorify Jesus Christ by providing a resource of people that can play the game in a fun, healthy, and wholesome way, whether they are Christian or not. We encourage people to "friend" people on the roster so that they can connect for meaningful interactions as well as fun, which is better in my opinion than constantly looking for random people that may curse or get angry. Since I'm on this point, let me say that although the clan is not huge yet, there are over 120 group members and almost 60 clan members, so if you want to play with people, you will have to friend the people and actually ask for help or group play. An appropriate Bible verse here would be, "You have not because you ask not!" So please, join and ask, not just once, because people might be busy, but keep asking and find some kindred spirits! Since not every member may be a Christian, you may encounter all types of people with good values from anywhere, but our hope is to be stimulating enough for adults and clean enough for kids (and me!). There is room for competitive play as well as casual play, and as we continue to grow, we should have plenty of people for all styles of play. We also have a club by the same name, hosted by Angel Bulldog. If you have any questions, please ask. We also love to help new people or perhaps people who have not been able to do different parts of Destiny. Also, we have several people from time zones close to the UK and Asia, so please know that we would love to have more from around the world! Poison manages a prayer list on the forum page, so just let us know if you have any prayer requests. We also exist as a clan on both platforms. B4NE, Poison, Icy, Mars, dadbigdog, and Angel are good resources for XBox players, and CrazyNerd is a good resource for PS players. Most of our communication is currently done through Discord, but we still also interact through Bungie as well.
