What kind of music do you listen to?
Just wondering what music people in the Destiny community listen to. Post a song as an example if you want; youtube links, soundcloud or whatever you want.

Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Power Metal, early Death Metal.The big four; Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica (excluding st. Anger) the smaller two; Testament, Exodus, Black Sabbath (especially Dio era), Stratovarius, Judas Priest, Fight, Rainbow, Mercyful Fate, Dragonforce, Avenged Sevenfold, Cacophony, and Death which is the OG death metal band that isn't garbage because their vocals are audible, their intrumental work more than one chord and their album covers don't have mass murder on them.

I listen to a bit of everything really, depends what mood I'm in. Mostly it's my SoundCloud I listen to which is bouncy music

A variety, depends on my mood. I like a lot of classic rock (Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd are my favourites), some electro swing, synthwave (Carpenter Brut is great), a bit of jazz, funk, very rarely some rap, and a lot of soundtracks. Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, lots of video game soundtracks(DOOM and Halo), and Yoko Kanno to name a few.

5 RepliesAnything, really. Even if I don't like it, I'll still listen to it. The only exception being death metal [songs with excessive growling and screaming]. I do enjoy it if used in moderation, when it's sprinkled throughout a song here and there. But I usually prefer cleaner vocals. :-)

6 RepliesEdited by ol azo: 5/14/2017 9:20:28 PMI like EDM mostly, but I can't stand anything overplayed. That includes chainsmokers, Martin garrix, and kendrick. I like a tiny bit of dubstep and rap. Just a few artists. I like to revisit some old bands as well. That all includes MGMT, The Format, Major Lazer, Yellow Claw, Jack Ü, Skrillex, Different Heaven, Jai Wolf, Dillon Francis, Galantis, What So Not. Pop disgusts me because there's so much hype over pop stars that do literally nothing for the credit they gain. Not that the music is good anyway. I'm also pretty suprised that nobody said any kinds of soundtracks.
