Edit: And by lagging, I mean [i]teleporting[/i], and this happens 1/2 of my games, and often with more than one person. I'm green bar 90% of the time with some flucuations.

People get butthurt because the meta changes and the guns that previously helped them play well no long work as they did and they don't have the skill or mental capacity to adapt. Or that this game is nearly 3 years old and most people have figured out Pvp now so they can't pub stomp noobs anymore.

2 RepliesYou're not the only one. Dunno what the hell's going on with other people. Some may be telling the truth, but I'm certain that it's being over-exaggerated. Bungie may not have done a great job on fixing bugs in Destiny, but this isn't an Ubisoft title. It can't possibly be as bad as people are making it out to be. There's no doubt in my mind that there have been actual instances of these problems, but it's probably just bad lag, or a problem with your copy of the game. I'm getting my vacuum ready for the amounts of sodium chloride that's undoubtedly going to come from every orifice of my phone. Remember me (and my phone), my brothers!

Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

2 RepliesI've just moved and haven't got my internet sorted out properly yet, but before this I lived in London, had BT Infinity, was about 100 metres from my exchange and lived in a new building with the latest standard in wiring. I hardly ever had lag in PvP, I mean it did happen but it was obvious and still manageable. I honestly believe the majority of these moaning people just use Lag as an excuse for their own inadequacies. Most of those people moaning about red bars are causing them too and refuse to believe it. And in my opinion Wifi is the worst enemy of the modern online gaming era. I understand that there is no other option for some people, but most here could just plug a cable in and improve the experience for everyone. But no, selfish and ignorant people dominate PvP and these forums.

Your edits are attempts to cover your ass and they are very poor attempts at that. Lag is not a one way street. You're right when you say that it's your connection that is having issues but you don't say why it's that person's connection. I know why it's because they player base is tiny and they match making has to but kids from middle of nowhere

So, you play for the first time in forever, assumingly for a few hours and think you have enough data to support the claim that these issues don't exist? That is idiotic. You haven't played long enough to see this issues. These issues aren't happening all the time, but they are happening. Play more and you will see for yourself.

I understand what you mean. We all know that the '90s tech that they use to run their game isn't the best in any shape way or form but personally, I can really only recall having any problems were when they had known issues going on and that includes both PvE and PvP.

The lag is next to nill compared to year 1 when half the lobby would be running into a wall you'd stand there punching them for zero damage and they'd disappear and kill you from behind lol or say elim you'd have 3 guys running into a wall if you managed to somehow down two of them the 3rd would somehow get the revives while running into a wall lmao that..... Was terrible. And I actually get killed by a ton of different weapons and I can use a ton of different weapons. One match ill use grasp then mida then a palindrome then doctrine then blind predition then a badger ccl then fabian strategy etc etc and they all work pretty well.. its nice not just being stuck to one archetype. The only time I ever really get booted is during trials and that's usually somewhere between game 7-9 I'll check stats they will be .5-.9 k/d around 900 elo I'm like Jesus easy flawless game yes please! Next thing ya know my hardwired ps4 losses connection to destiny/psn I look at my phone its Wi-Fi connection is gone and ill have to go reset my modem/router just to get back on... I'll look at their past games and sure enough those teams will have played 0 full teams. They have either had nothing but 2v3 or in our case a 1v3 all the way to game 9....

For me it hasn't been happening a lot, but occasionally you'll find one person who should've been booted from destiny servers, teleporting while you and everyone else is green bar. The lag is sometimes really bad but it has been looked at and it's sometimes other peoples connection not ours, probably 90% if the lag posts are just bad internet... i'm not saying you're a bad person but some of these are legitimate. Playing trials against a real laggy person is the worst thing that can happen now, having shots not connect for 3-5 seconds while it's obviously not you lagging, if you see someone lagging, and you're in a fireteam, check if your teammates see him the same way you do, if not it's probably just you... it's still been a lot less frequent than it was a while ago....
