So during the regicide mission oryx makes a lot of statements to the guardian(s) but one of them had me quite interested so let's focus on that. The statement in question is the following. "What you call darkness is the end of your evolution!" Now I know what a lot of you are thinking is that I'm overthinking this but hear me out because we already have one example that may prove this statement to be true and that is the npc known as Eris Morn. Now you probably wonder how is eris possibly proof of this well let's take a look at her character design and it's differences from all the other characters who are guardians. For starters eris' first major think to take note of is that she seems to have three green eyes similar to the hive. The next thing to note is that unlike the other guardian characters she has no ghost with her now the reason this is strange is that based on other missions I have come to the conclusion that if the ghost dies their guardian will die. But what if eris isn't dead because she converted her ghost from a being of light into a being of darkness what if the tomb husk that she always has is her former ghost. Is it possible that in order to survive like we know she did she made herself and her ghost evolve to become beings of darkness. Now I know I know this all seems absolutely crazy but remember she also shows up on oryxs ship after regicide to do something to his sword and she creates the touch of malice for you. I know this is all far fetched but is it really all that far fetched in truth it may be more reasonable than many of you may want to believe.
