Ahh yes, put all the blame in the so called "trials crybabies" and not in the video game company that tries to fix minor problems with drastic changes.
Shotguns kill people a lot? Let's get rid of all special ammo
Trip mines unicorned one particularly whiny player? They don't stick anymore and their damage is reduced
Fire bolts let a tactical player get a breaker because the other team grouped up like cattle? Their damage is halved.
I saw someone say that the sandbox team makes changes akin to a brain surgeon conducting brain surgery with a sledge hammer. That is the most poignant analogy I've seen.
Yes, too many people complain about literally everything. But that doesn't absolve bungie from the blame when they make idiotic changes to try to placate a small percentage of the community

Firebolt nerf was fine everything else like wtf bungie
-
They needed to be changed but the nerf was too much. And it's a perfect example of something that was working well in PvE that got shit on because of Trials whiners. Bungie seems to have an inability to nerf with precision. They nerf across the board and usually haphazardly
-
Yup. Tbe buck stops at bungie and they have a TERRIBLE sandbox team. They've been bad since the beginning.
-
Thank you.

Edited by Man at Arms: 5/7/2017 12:42:24 PMI agree with what your saying. The Bungie sandbox team is bad. I've extensively called them and Josh Hamrick out on their bs. It was someone elses turn to be called out though.
-
Obviously I don't disagree with you. The number of whiny people in this community is honestly staggering. But bungie also has never tried to have a backbone and stick by the way they made aspects of their game
-
No they have not.
-
First the Xûr post and now this, you're pretty coo in my book
-
thanks Sneaky one!
-
Bravo people in trials may have started the nerf crying but bungie followed through without the knowledge of how to balance things.
-
Agreed. Thanks.

I swear the patch notes prior to the special change said they were going to make a small change to the special ammo economy. It's like they don't understand the affect that small changes have so they assume huge changes must be made

Well said
