Trials of Osiris is one of the biggest pieces of endgame content that keeps a lot of the elite players coming back. Don't get me wrong I'm awful at trials but I don't think completely removing it would be a good solution either. The biggest issue I think is that Trials gameplay completely dictates how the rest of the game is run. For example, if a weapon or ability is being overused and 3v3 elimination matches turn into basically shotguns, snipers, or sticky grenades, the place where it has the most detrimental effect is Trials. But when we make adjustments to weapons and nerf abilities, it isn't just unique to Trials, but all PVP and PVE. This makes the "then don't play trials" argument invalid, because even people who don't touch crucible still have to play with the effects of any adjustments made. Remove it? I don't necessarily agree, but it would be good to keep it in its own box and not let a single multiplayer mode determine the entirety of the game.
