I don't even play trials and still oppose this idea. Why take something out? If you don't like it, like me, don't play it.
Also, there's a 0% chance of this happening. Trials keeps Destiny trending on YouTube, Twitch, etc... and contributes greatly to the replayability of the game for a huge portion of the player base.

It's a bit more than just don't play if you don't like it. Bungie is changing everything in the sandbox bc of trials. Making unnecessary nerfs bc the trials community doesn't like it when someone abuses a certain weapon, armor or ability.

I get that. I personally feel most people severely over react to many of the nerfs. For instance, the nerf to Skorri was well thought out in my opinion. People complain because it make skorri useless on raids where you're constantly wiping. My advice, stop wiping or do an ammo run to build it back up and kill yourself. That works faster anyway. Remove trials due to nerfs affecting both PVP and PvE is like cutting off your leg because your toe is broken. The better solution is to design away to buff or nerf something in a particular instance (PvP and PvE). I definitely want loot to be used on both platforms as I thinks that's an awesome bit of uniqueness. But, if possible, (ex.) nerf clever dragon in PvP but leave it alone in pve.

I find the players reaction to the nerfs justified. NLB what was once considered the worst gun in destiny is now the meta bc everything was nerfed into oblivion. I disagree with your second point as well but I think we can both agree that trials itself it not a problem, Bungie is the problem. As I stated in my previous comment Bungie is changing the sandbox by just nerfing the most used weapon in the crucible or trials and not really focusing on what the side effects of that will be. TV made a video a couple of days ago, giving a rock paper scissor analogy for the crucible. I highly recommend you watch it, he gives a much better explanation of the analogy.
