Tell that to all the oppressed people that now live free because the US intervened. Could you imagine a world with Hitler or Tojo as your ruler? Imagine Europe without jews, China as a Japanese suburb. Australia as part of the Axis commonwealth or North Africa speaking Italian.
The US does not do everything right but could you imagine how it would be if the US did not intervene?

Edited by moist nana: 5/7/2017 11:48:56 AMLol... just lol... US intervention CERTAINLY speeds things up, but to think they had any bearing on any of the major wars is just ludicrous. If there's a clear allied victory and the war is almost won, THATS when you'll see the US swoop in and "save the day"

Maybe stay in school and learn a little about ww2 history. US Navy was the largest fleet at the end of ww2 even if you combined all the other nations navies. US had the highest output of war material of any nation. US allies all used american stuff, even Russia. The Japanese surrendered because the US pummeled them. The Italians changed sides because the US entered the North African campaign and was a major player in the Italian campaign. D-Day simply would not have happened without the US.

Edited by moist nana: 5/7/2017 9:54:10 PMLike i said the US helped speed things up. In Europe and the Pacific the Axis countries would loose, Russia was the most influential country in the war. An Allied victory was clear just without US involvment it wouldve taken years. I'm guessing you went to a US school were your taught your own countries history? In the grand scheme of things it realy wasn't that significant.
-
I own over 200 hardback books of WW2 history. 99% of my knowledge does not come from a one semester US history class that encompassed 200 years of US history. I have read books of many different authors from many of the different countries involved. I'm guessing you went to your own countries school to learn about WW2 history and have a small library.

Are you kidding me? If Hitler succeeded the world would be free of Jewish tyranny and the usury they commit on the good citizens.
-
Obviously the us wasn't solely responsible for winning the second world war. Everywhere else they've been they've made things worse.
-
Please let me know how you think the outcome would have been if the US did not get involved?
-
If the US didn't freeze Japanese assets and establish the oil embargo, Japan could've continued their war in China, and eventually put up an Eastern front in the Soviet Union. Together with Germany they would've wiped communism as well as the ideology that fuels it, Marxism, off the face of the Earth. The people would be free of usury committed by the Rothschild banks and we would all be prosperous. What a horrible world to live in.
-
The Germans would have still lost. It would have taken longer, but their invasion of Russia failed, the Russians were steaming through Europe, and their invasion of Britain also failed.
-
Yes I am aware of that. And that leaves us with Stalin unchecked in Europe with only the Commonwealth standing in there way. Its not like France was in any position to do anything about it. Spain opted out and did not contribute anything but the "Blue Division" to fight in Russia. Stalin would not have forgotten that.

Edited by Syndicate Bias: 5/5/2017 3:28:41 PMI would've preferred that tbh No migrant crisis would be happening in Europe
-
Your not seriously saying that the continued genocide of jews, blacks and other "undesirables" by Hitler would have been better are you?
-
Edited by Syndicate Bias: 5/5/2017 5:57:47 PMNever said that did I? I just said I wouldn't mind the other alternate reality. I don't think I'm higher than anyone, but its a fact that most countries under their total majority are filthy and disgusting. Maybe there's a few gems but very rare. Don't try to twist or put words in my mouth when there's none said of that nature. Try again And america isn't the only country that won in ww2, that's ignorance to to think ww2 was won because of America I suggest you read a few books from other European countries PoV and the enemy
-
I will not bother to quote you,,,,but you did say that. Lots of countries won in WW2. I actually am fairly well read on WW2 history. I have read Italian, German, Japanese and other Axis accounts as well. Which books would you recommend? Please let me know how the Japanese would have fared faced with only the Chinese, Australians and a few other smaller countries in the war in the pacific. And how the Commonwealth would have pulled off D-Day.
-
Firstly Japan could've taken most of the pacific without Americas intervention idk why you had to switch the topic to Japan and the pacific when we are on about Europe. And secondly regardless of america the allies would've won due to Hitlers mistake of fighting a two side war thus victory would've arrived regardless but delayed for a few years. America helped speed it up but in no way did america contribute to most of the war time in Europe. Last second winner takes all credit. Only credit america can almost take at least 90% is Japan and thats it. Otherwise Australia would've been utterly annihilated and China
-
Still waiting for those book recommendations.
-
We didn't win the war by ourselves cool, but you literally said and I quote "I would have preferred that tbh"
-
Preferred the alternate outcome?
