The majority of the playerbase is not supposed to enjoy it, it is literally a gamemode for the above average player. A person who loses multiple times is removed, I would consider this person average or below average. A player who wins repeatedly is rewarded, this would be considered above average. It is meant to be exactly how it is, competitive. So when you say remove it and just "add another competitive gamemode" the same things will happen in Destiny 2. So they can't just remove competitive gamemodes because they will upset a rather large portion of players. Your logic is flawed.
His logic is not flawed. You are just ignoring his facts. There's a big difference.

What facts are you referring to?

That's what I'm wondering, but he refuses to "enlighten me" as I asked.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think concrete facts were presented in the original argument...

Exactly my point.

Enlighten me.
Enlighten me.
Lol he can't, he just trash talks.

Edited by Kitty PhD: 5/5/2017 2:38:26 PMI'm legitimately waiting for him to debunk my post, but it's looking grim. Edit: It's been about 45 minutes, I don't think it's gonna happen.

Agreed. I personally hate Trials, but I love that it exists for the PvP sweaties. I get my raids. They should get their awesome trials (or something like it) gear. I will admit it's annoying to keep dealing with annoying (not crippling) nerfs based on PvP that trickle into PvE. But as you say, more separation between the modes would be welcome.

I agree. The nerfs in PVE are kind of annoying sometimes. Does it really honestly have a huge effect on PVE? No at all.
-
Yes, they do. Many things have been outright broken for Pve play. It's just that Pve players have sucked it up and adapted. Because we've learned that Bungie pretty much ignores our complaints where the Sandbox is concerned. We haven't had a voice in how this game gets tuned for over two years now.
