If you mean the Judeo-Christian god, no. I do not think such a being exists. My reasoning, with all due respect for our more theistic Floodians, is that there were people outside of the Mesopotamian area that this religion started in. They are left out of the Bible, which is the sole source of this god's authority. What happens to them? Automatically sentenced to hell for the crime of being born in India or Asia while some goat herders in Mesopotamia and Asia Minor worked out who to sacrifice their goats to? Nope, not buying it.
I think that there possibly could be a consciousness above ours. At least I haven't ruled that out. Maybe aware of me in the way I am aware of an individual neuron firing in my brain. Who knows? But as far as the religious depictions of God thus far demonstrated in the world, I do not believe in any of them.
