Destiny was a good game but I just don't trust you people anymore. You brought out new guns, apparently, even though they were the same archetype as year 1 guns but with different paint jobs. That's not new, it's a re-skin. Then you ran out of ideas and brought back the original paint jobs into year 2/3. Lame. You brought out all new strikes to increase the playlist we had, but weren't they just year 1 strikes with new voice overs? That not new, it's a re-skin. You also brought year 1 raids back into year 3 which people have already played a million times, I assume you ran out of more ideas? I mean the thing that made me laugh the most was siva. All new enemies never seen before that just so happen to be the first race we ever encountered only this time they have some red on them. Where's the creativity? You charged people for this bollocks. I could go on but I don't care to. It looks to me like all this company has done is constantly recycle old trash and re sell it to people promising them new content that never actually arrived. I wouldn't buy the same car twice just because it has a new paint job so why should I, In fact, people put their faith into Destiny 2? I worry that the whole game is going to be a 4th year of old shit that we've done before. That'll do I'm bored of waffling on.
Edit; I got a few more replies than I first anticipated and a lot of people in the replies talk about content being pushed out too quick and thus far resulting in failure, treat their comments as a TL:DR because they make more sense than my post in a shorter package.
I hope Destiny 2 isn't a huge flop but giving what we've seen so far in the games progression, I don't know whether buying into this game will be worth it anymore.

You care a whole lot about aesthetics. That's weird.

You do realize they have a really small live team working on the game right now. RoI started production at the beginning of 2016. Plus, The Taken King was super original and fixed a lot of Year 1's problems. The live team consists of a very small amount of people with most of the studio including High Moon Studios and Vicarious Visions working on Destiny 2. It's hard for the team to bust out new assets, levels, music, voice lines, and code for all of that stuff in a small amount of time with the terrible game engine they work with.

What do you mean "you people"?
-
Agreed, people need to stop shaming other for their purchasing choices.

You just put Bungie to shame lol. Good job :) -
No. Just stating the unfortunate circumstance of the Live team.
No. Just stating the unfortunate circumstance of the Live team.
It goes way beyond the live team. -
Seriously. They ran out of original content in the first year. How do they plan to create a sequel. I thought this was suppose to be an all new game. Why are we fighting the cabal. How did they manage to destroy the tower and all the gear, even the one we're wearing. Just sounds lazy to me. I think this is going to be one of the biggest hustles in game history. They are selling a sequel which in reality is only a cabal raid. I was all in for a completely new game. Doesn't seem or sound new to me.

all true, but the majority of the content that was brought forward was in direct response to player request/demand. for a long time you couldn't get more than 2 posts in the forums without running into some type of "bring back (x), or bring back (y)", and a TON of "make old raids relevant again!" posts.

In doing so Bungie put out Ttk and tried treating it like it was a full game and the gullible bought into it. Here we are now with another expansion that was a pushed out product that has less content and again stretching out for another y1. D2 is a 2 year project and if Destiny was a 6 year project. What does this company have to offer other then another pushed out product? -
TTK was HUGE. It affected EVERY planet, and was its OWN Expansion, it brought bounties and fights never seen, and it brought the best raid in the game. It also fixed a lot of the problems the game had prior.

Destiny was a rushed game that they put together last minute in a year because they didn't like the original story, which if they would have put out actually sounds cool.

Video games are serious business

I like your scepticism, while vastly true it's still the only game I've played longer than six months. I just hope they have new planets and enemy's as rise of iron was a failure in my opinion.
