Have these questions in my book: The ranks of tennis players represent Qualitative data. T or F? Numbers of students in a university is representing Quantitative data. T or F? How many pair of shoes do you own?
The ranks of tennis players represent Qualitative data. T or F?
This is qualitative (true) because you aren't counting anything. Ranks refer to the quality of the tennis players.
Numbers of students in a university is representing Quantitative data. T or F?
Key word: numbers. That is quantitative (so, true).
How many pair of shoes do you own?
Again, dealing with numbers here. That means that is quantitative data.
