Both PS4 and Xbox1 have plenty of social networking features implemented into them. For example: liking activities of your friends, sharing trophy/achievements, commenting on others activities, posting status updates, communities, etc.
Do any of you use these features regularly? Why or why not?
I personally like using them but many people on my friends list seem to ignore them altogether. Thoughts?

I use them sometimes. On PS4 I'm a bit of a trophy hunter and have made friends doing that, so I always like when people get a platinum. And sometimes I'll share video clips of stuff or something

Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 4/25/2017 6:48:37 PMI use the "What's New" tab to check up on what my friends have been doing, and use PS4 for group chats and private messaging a good amount of the time. So kinda. Usually through the phone apps though.

Edited by Psychic Donuts: 4/24/2017 5:59:02 PMYeah on Xbox; or at least I look through gameclips and stuff, no liking or any of that shit. The PS4's are there but not nearly as prominent or as easy as the Xbox's. They really hit the nail on the head.
-
Personally no. But this one random guy keeps liking every achievement I get, I don't even know why!
-
That's like asking if people regularly use their consoles for browsing the Internet.
-
Hardly ever. The only thing I use it for is to check what games my friends are playing.
-
No, I have a phone and laptop for that.
-
I personally enjoy using all the PS4's Social Features, that's why I scroll through the What's New section frequently.
-
I'm in the N7 club, mostly sharing things whenever I can from Mass Effect 2 and 3. That's about the extent of it.
-
I do when I'm bored. That's about it, though.
-
The way I see it, is my console is for playing games and watching movies. If I wanted to do anything with social media, I use my phone.
-
Nothing will ever replace what OG XFire meant to me man
-
I use clubs for LFG but that's about it.
-
I post some clips in the feed on occasion.
-
I let my achievements post automatically. And sometimes upload videos. I watch a few of friends videos, like/comment. But I really like seeing other friends achievements, seeing if I have it. Sometimes I'll buy a game, just cuz I see the achievments, and then learn about the game.
-
I definitely like seeing the cool things my friends have done. If I see that a certain person recorded a short clip, I usually am sure I'm in for something good. I don't spend a lot of time with the social features, but I'm glad they're there.
-
I like the Nintendo miiverse. My only issue is that I can't access it on my phone through an app considering how big it is. The ps4 social areas were ruined in one of the last updates. They made every post so big, that I never want to scroll through them. And I hate the xbox UI so I never detour far from going straight to my games.
-
Very seldom do I use the features, but I'm still glad that they are there.
-
Just for chat.
-
My brother and I will send clips to each other but that's about it
-
no. I don't care about that stuff and I'm sure my friends really don't care about what trophy I got for any particular game. I also don't need everyone to know that I was up at 330am on a weeknight playing video games.
-
I use party chat when I play with friends... ... that's pretty much it.
-
I love the share feature. I routinely share screenshots, trophies and in game videos
