Get a job... Happy Easter, kids.

You Children without any liquid income are not the target demographic. The sooner you accept this the happier you will be. For "kids" that think that not preordering the game is going to somehow change the quality at release; you do understand that these games were already made years ago and that your purchase does not change them don't you? ●Good games like we had on NES, Sega, PS1 etc. were only complete games without DLC because the Internet had not yet become a viable media for the average consumer. ●It's not hidden. The whole point of DLC is to substitute for lack of subscription fees. Xbox and Playstation already charge you for using your own internet. Bungie needs income to maintain servers and make a profit. ●If it costs 20 million to make a game that means you need to net 60 million to cover the first game to fund it's servers and the next game to stay in business. ○Now you have a widely availibe online environment thanks in most part to the target demographic of working ages 25 to 40 with liquid income that allows Development to expand games from 25 gigabytes to well over 60 gigabytes. ○We in turn purchase these games and Internet subscriptions for you our children. We buy your PS Network, Xbox Live, and we buy products placed in ads on your home screen that allow you the privilege to call yourself a "Gamer." You act as though there should be some kind of limitation on profit for Bungie, etc. as if there would be any games at all without any profit. ☆ ○Trees will stop being planted when you stop using paper. ○Ask yourself this, "How can I be opposed to preordering while at the same time I buy books, newspapers, or go to the movies?" ●When you don't preorder because you think the game is being cut up like a Pizza you are actually asking for a game that did not have planned expansion and just because you knew some additional content had already been developed you assume that it was cut from the original.
Start at paragraph 3 and stop here.
You whine and moan about pay to win, but you gladly play all the content it funds.
You can get a good look at a T- bone by sticking your head up a bulls a**, but I'd rather take the butchers word for it.
I gladly threw my money at my screen because I am an adult. I pay taxes for my streets. I pay taxes to feed the homeless people who live in my streets. I pay people to pump the crap from my toilets under my house. I pay for the guy who collects my garbage. But heaven forbid the company that adds a bit of enjoyment to my life make any profit on my preorder! Put simply if we all stop pre-ordering games today those games would not go to launch and we would never get to play them at all. GET A JOB! 1500+ Edit Day 3: Are you one of those kids with your hair sticking out from under the front of your crooked "baseball" cap and tight skinny jeans somehow still bunched up in the back? You look like you pooped your pants after a good window licking session. Toejam & Earl edit: people are complaining because I'm editing this post I see this as a live thread. Editing my thread is how I am able to respond to everyone at the same time and borrow other people's good insights in which case I always give them credit inside their original post.

  • I don't see the purpose of your post. You just seem to be rambling about something no many care about, yet you seem to be passionate of this little matter. Instead of making long rants on a forum site, you yourself should get a job.

    • Purchasing something prior to knowing the quality of the content is simply stupid. Also, you clearly think you're special because you have a job. Perfect example is NBA 2k17. They accepted preorders.got a shit ton of money, but when it came to content, it was a big secret. When 2k released NBA 17, it was NBA 16. They literally resold these people the same exact game. Only thing that was different was a few of the player ratings changed from an 81 overall to an 82 overall. Other than that it literally was the same game. I'm sorry but you're wrong. Also seem to be bragging that you have a job. Welcome to the real world, I would looooove if everyone was like you. I would tell you I'm selling Popsicles, but you can't know what flavor, just that I'm selling Popsicles. Force you to order it without seeing what you're getting, proceed to sell you frozen dog shit. But you wouldn't care because you work. Op is a dumbass...no offense op

Successful pre-order numbers encourage publishers to spend more time and money on advertising and marketing, rather than focusing those resources on producing the actual game. I totally understand and encourage not pre-ordering, unless its perhaps a limited edition you want - if you want limited edition your going to play it if its shit anyway.

              • So much butt hurt in this thread. I'm betting most of the kids that complain about pre ordering games don't spend a penny on most of the games they play. Mommy and daddy buy their games or they get them as presents. Kids should be seen, not heard.

I don't have liquid income. Its actually a solid . Most of it is green and has faces of old ass whte dead people. Sometimes i also get these rounded thin objects that shine in the light. They also mostly have dead white people except for these yellow ones and a few others that hoarders love to collect. And then sometimes when im feeling fancy i use plastic. Saves trees so i can wipe my own ass with two ply

                  • Most players pay no attention to money being wasted on fast food, movies, music, soda, energy drinks, candy, alcohol, or any other discretionary purchase that only provides you with a few hours of enjoyment. These can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars a year. But trying to make sure you dont waste money on a video game (read video game) seems to be a deal breaker. A game that I'll bet most people have played for hundreds of hours. Yup total waste of money :p

                  • I still don't understand this post. Are you complaining about kids not making money? I have 2 jobs and I'm 16. I make 10 and 9.50 an hour. One of the jobs gives me commission. I don't complain about kids without jobs. I have jobs in order to help my parents with bills and to cover my own expenses. Some kids don't need to have jobs. If I could focus purely on school I would. If I could have more fun over school breaks I would. But, we are all born in different positions. You can't judge kids based on their job experience, but you can judge them based on actions, personality, and economic class. Granted lower class children have gone through tougher situations and matured faster than most kids. Middle class kids grew up normally and matured normally. High class kids grew up slower and matured slower due to lack of problems. Age doesn't show maturity. I'm more mature than some 35 year olds. I know 30 year olds that are mature as some 10 year olds. It's all a matter of how they grew up and what they have gone through.

                      • The whole cut content thing is so silly. So what if it's "on the disc" or not. Did you receive sufficient content for the money? Hell yes. Does it matter if the dlc content is on the disc, on a server , on a flash drive, in a book, in a happy meal? No.

This post and the supporters are why we will always get cheated out of good games. We will continue to get rushed out games, greedy business tactics, and treated like an ATM machine. It's sad. Everyone with low standards and low mental abilities, which seems to be the majority, are what make up today's gamers. *shrugs* Guess that's my cue to leave.

                            • Are you sure you are an adult? It is because people like you we can't have nice things. Why would you pre order a digital game you know nothing about? I would understand if it was something tangible but being software it is not going to ran out of production is it? You are supporting the DLC one day 1 mentality. I remember back in the day an adult being happy paying extra $ to have all the weapons unlocked in a BF game. What is the point of playing then? No sense of achievement. Just like the idiots being carried to the lighthouse. It is your money and do as you wish but you are destroying the gaming industry.
