4K, 4K assets, 4K!!!!! I'm a father of 3 with 3 massive 1080p's and multiple consoles. I want games not inflated hardware that will play awesome 4K VR exclusives.

I agree completely. If I want 4K I'll use a PC that can run so many more games at 4K

  • The majority of games you play are third party. The Scorpio will give you the best experience for all third party games, even on a 1080p screen. The Scorpio has a really nice downsampling so you will be seeing the absolute nicest 1080p display you've ever seen in your life. Plus if you have a PC, Microsoft is merging the two platforms. I'm assuming you are a PlayStation only guy from your comment. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but if you want to play third party games without hassle, the Scorpio will give you the best way to do that, period.

  • How does my comment say anything about me choosing a side. If I cared about the best specs to run games with I'd be strictly pc. This system isn't being made for the majority of gamers and the One will continue to be their big seller. No matter what you say about it Microsofts best move will be to actually start focusing on games, that would be the best thing for them not a mid cycle junk measuring contest. So, for now, no, I don't give 2 shits about Scorpio. Hell, I haven't been given a reason to upgrade my 360 yet, and that's not out of any kind of fanboyism, Gears and Halo just don't do it for me anymore. Am I more invested in PS at this point, absolutely. What would change that? GAMES!!!... not hardware that runs them slightly better.

Again, the Scorpio is the best way to play third party games which are the large majority of games that get played on console. If you don't like the exclusives that Xbox has then fine, that's an opinion, but it's a fact that the Scorpio will give you a better experience for the majority of games you play. And it's not "slightly better". This is a completely different league from the PS4 to the PS4 Pro.

  • Slightly better is what it will be. My launch PS4 looks beautiful on screen. Most games run flawlessly. I'm a gamer, let me know when Microsoft starts talking about games.

No, it's not. It is significantly more powerful than any console before it. There is proof of that. The majority of the games that get played are third party games. The Scorpio will give you the highest quality experience for third party games for a console.
