My favorite line is "Nobody cares about power stop it's about he games!!!!"
These are of course the same people who say "These games have the best graphics better anything than you have lololololol!!!!!"
Also, the amount of people who really don't want the best bang for their buck are actually amusing. Ffs just get rid of exclusives already, these people would actually have to make educated decisions and it'd be hilarious to watch.
I'm still not impressed by the Scorpio, nice catching up to an actual next gen system though.

Not impressed by the Scorpio? Read this: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2017-forza-motorsport-on-project-scorpio-the-full-story
-
Not really. On a console level it's very impressive sure, not very impressed though.
-
As someone with a high end PC, what Microsoft has achieved is amazing. The amount of -blam!-ing tuning that has gone into the Scorpio is outstanding. Did you really read the article?
-
I didn't. Probably should've, or maybe not I know enough about it. Maybe I'm not impressed because I already knew what was going in it.
-
Well there you -blam!-ing go. Read it.

Edited by DarkMythos: 4/10/2017 1:22:43 AMI must admit, "I'm not impressed" is more of an understatement on my part. I am impressed, but if devs don't support it and the software just isn't their because of that it really won't matter. Impressive though. Back to Fallout 4.

So many devs have already come out saying they are super excited to get to work on it.
-
I've also seen many saying the original Xbox will hold it back, and I think we all agree that's true. Can Microsoft not be on top though, I like how they actually make pro-consumer decisions now since they have to compete for attention.
-
The original Xbox? Or the Xbox One? Yeah Xbox has become super fan-based since their terrible launch in 2013. I think that's pretty set though. Phil Spencer would continue that no matter what position they are in.

Xbox One, it simply will not allow the Scorpio to reach its full potential.

Edited by Psychic Donuts: 4/10/2017 4:20:53 AMDo you not understand that Xbox isn't doing generational based releases? After years, Microsoft will disconnect the Scorpio from the Xbox One and there will be Scorpio exclusives as developers and consumers move from one console to the next. Even now, devs can still optimize their game to use all of the Scorpio's hardware. If a developer is making games, there is a very high chance their game is on Windows as well as console. Xbox runs a closed form of windows (Windows none-the-less). If they are on PC, they already have the graphical scaling abilities that will allow them to make an Xbox One optimized version and a Scorpio optimized version. That's the magic of the UWP (universal windows platform).
-
I understand all of this, what I'm saying is that the initial fact of all games having to be made for the original Xbox One will hold back the potential of the first games that do come to it. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that after at least 2 years we'll see Xbox Project Scorpio exclusives.
Xbox One will hold back the potential of the first games that do come to it
I literally just explained why this isn't the case for all games that are on PC as well as console and some that are just console exclusive.
