Dear Max, I was taught this in grade school. Exempli gratia: I was also taught cursive writing, penmanship, and the diagramming of sentences. Most people nowadays can't even construct a coherent sentence, let alone be bothered with grammar and punctuation. I thank the catholic school nuns who thought me, and I shudder at what today's public schools pass off as education. Have a great day too! Ox·ford com·ma noun noun: Oxford comma; plural noun: Oxford commas a comma used after the penultimate item in a list of three or more items, before ‘and’ or ‘or’ (e.g. an Italian painter, sculptor, and architect ). Origin a characteristic of the house style of Oxford University Press.
