I'll be picking up a Scorpio when it comes out for pre order.
The graphics aren't that much of a jump from the pro but from what I've heard fable is coming out with it and I want crackdown 3.

What type of fable???
-
I have no clue. More a rumor than anything
-
-
You're very misinformed. The graphical capabilities of the Scorpio is over double that of the Pro. Fable got cancelled a year ago.
-
The pro runs at like 1800 and the Scorpio only goes 25% above that. You can barely tell the difference between native 4k and c/b 4k. I've seen both side by side on a 4k t.v and trust me it's not a huge jump. For the scorpio to make it it needs exclusives. Nobody's going to buy a new console or switch from ps4 pro for the same games at 25% better graphics.
-
You are just throwing numbers that don't even have units on them. There is a huge difference between native 4k and checkerboard; not only for the eyes but for the machine running it. And who says that there will only be resolution upgrades? Not only will the Scorpio run in a higher res than any other Console before it but the graphical fidelity and render quality will be higher and better than any other console before it.
-
There is no proof that games will be native 4k. They will probably checkerboard the stuff too on Scorpio.
-
There will be tomorrow. I'm sure there will be some games that run checkboard on Scorpio. If they have to run cb or dynamic on Scorpio then the Pro couldn't even get close to cb or dynamic.

Edited by L E G E N D9602: 4/6/2017 12:29:48 AMCouldn't even get close. I am right now running Horizon with checkboard rendering, and it looks -blam!-ing unbelievable on the Pro with 4k tv KS8000. I hate to say it, but you are just hoping and praying right now Donuts.
-
I never said checkerboard looks bad, it looks good. It doesn't look as good as native, obviously. Your comment had nothing to do with the topic here. You're right. I don't have any sources right now but tomorrow I will. I'll PM you.

Edited by L E G E N D9602: 4/6/2017 12:41:15 AMYes tomorrow we will know what the real specs of the Scorpio are, and hopefully they will announce some new IP at E3 so Microsoft can throw you guys a bone. I am tired of you guys moping around in your wheelchair consoles.
-
What do you mean "you guys"? I'm not some Xbox exclusive fanboy.
-
I dunno man you are prettt hardcore xbox fan from your replies
-
It's that you're a die-hard PS4 fan. My realism looks like defense in comparison.
-
Because you think so? Gotcha.
-
Yeah I get it the Scorpio will be a power house but that means nothing lol. And just wait until tomorrow. The difference between native 4k and c/b is only 25% res. And like I've said I've seen both side by side on a 4k t.v and you can't notice that huge of a difference. Power means nothing without new exclusives. I've said it before that power has never been an issue. Yes Sony fanboys will say it does but it doesn't. It's games that matter and nobody will move from ps4 to get a Scorpio just to play the same games. So the Scorpio is stuck with its already low player base to sell to.
-
Nobody's going to buy a new console or switch from ps4 pro for the same games at 25% better graphics.
Isn't that pretty much exactly what the ps4 pro is? Lol. Same games running slightly better. With it's GPU and bandwidth the Scorpio is about 50% more powerful than the pro. Games are important but I can guarantee you that most people spend most of their time on multiplatform third party titles, and enjoy the occasional exclusive. This system will be a lot more powerful than anything, so to play games that most people play it will be the best console for.
-
Gpu wise but graphics wise it's only about 25% jump. And that's why I say nobody is going to switch to the Scorpio from ps just to play less games on a slight difference of graphics. And fps mean nothing. The pro holds 60 just like Scorpio will but the human eye can't even see that so fps mean nothing. I'm not saying the Scorpio won't be good. I'm getting one. But I play both consoles. I have a 500 gift card I won from work and trade in my xb1 towards the Scorpio. But you have to realize over 50% of the gaming population owns a ps4. 24% own Xbox. That's not going to change over a new system
-
Are you saying the eye can't tell the difference between like...30 fps to 60?...if you are...well...shit...I must has super powers or something. I can definitely tell the difference. Be it gaming, or watching a video.
-
I think a lot of people will get it depending on the price. Almost everyone I know strictly play non exclusive games, so if they're looking for a better gaming experience for those titles the Scorpio will be the way to go. And nobody knows what's going to happen at e3, Microsoft could surprise everybody. Scorpio is the reason I bought my 4ktv so I'm definitely getting it. I advise people to wait until e3 to truly judge the console though.
-
That's the thing. Better graphics doesn't mean better gameplay lol. Especially when it's not a huge difference. The top 3rd party games are still partnered with sony
