Well...some unknown faction will release something that will become known as the silver flue at the reopening of the Eververse store. This will lead to an outbreak of a deadly virus will take the last city in its grips. Widespread panic will ensue and shortages of engrams will lead to riots and looting...vaults are not save at all. The many sick and dying will totally swamp the emergency services. There will be a riot in the PoE and most inmates will escape to further terrorize the city under the leadership of Kell Barret. Most guardians are wiped out during the apocalyptic outbreak...and their bodies will litter the streets. Sweeper bot gathers a band of like minded to form the Miantenance faction. Which swear to wipe out the virus by burning all the dead bodies and those who are infected... A select few guardians barely manage to escape the city....having to leave behind everything. They regroup to form a special task force that vows to restore order...that will become known as the Partition.
