26 RepliesEdited by Crashdogg76: 4/11/2017 9:38:08 AMThe REAL catalog of questions for Destiny 2 1: Since my guardian transfers only if level 21 and did Black Garden, does that mean everything I did after Vanilla Destiny didn't matter? 2: Will Destiny 2 be an actual open world? 3:If I loose the vault does that mean I have to manage inventory of whats on me at the time (forging/dropping/dismantling)? 4: If the traveler is on fire do I loose my ghost ie. perma-death? 5: Will Lennie James and Lauren Cohan return as Shaxx and Exo Stranger (Walking Dead Freak)? 6:Will I be able to choose different ghost voice (Peter Dinklage/ Sam Jackson/ Kevin Hart/ Trump/etc...)? 7: Will the story actually make sence? 8: Gary or Ghaul? 9: In game grimore? 10: will there be basic weapons (swords/ shields)? 11: Dedicated Servers? 12: 60 fps? 13: When I complete the basic story campaign will I be like "That was it...."? 14: Matchmaking Raids and Nightfalls? 15: Will I be able to see my fireteam member ship swoop into the world and drop off near me, (E3 2013)? 16: Will the 4th expansion force me to upgrade to PS4 Pro, PS5, Project Scorpio, Xbox One S? 17:Will Destiny 2 be cross-platform crossplay? 18: will you fire the composer midway thru use his/her music and not pay him/her? 19: will the lead writer up and leave before the game comes out cause you cut all of his content 20. will the CEO up and quit cause of SBMM and Crimson Days 21.will most the player base up and quit cause of player rage 22. will the cryptarch still be an @sshole 23. will we find a glitch in the game that gives us infinite spawns of loot and you end up patching it 24. will we be crying for harder raids and you don't put them in till the end 25. Pocket Infinty? Edit- 29. Ghost Bullets? 30. Will the AI just come at you in a straight line resulting in you getting nuthin but headshots? 31. 12 RepliesEdited by harvin_s_dhillon: 4/12/2017 5:02:11 PMWhat d2 needs Separation between pve and pvp Exotics that are not outperformed by legendaries Exotics that are op but hard to obtain a trophy room Space battles The raid to release at least 2 weeks after launch Some actual pve events unlike Queens wrath A superior UI (For the love of God stop kicking me out the menu) Raid loot that is worth using outside the raid Continuation of the ornament system and expand it to raid weapons New modifiers At least 12 hours of campaign (goes with having the raid be out 2 weeks later) A ingame lfg for those who want a team (a raid matchmaking would never work well) Removal of sprint cooldown A mini social space for you and your team can hangout while waiting for others or prepare before doing a activity like the raid (can have your trophy room) And finally the best Exotics should not be easy to obtain. Either make them RNG like in Y1 or make the quests more harder or like the Outbreak Prime quest (the challenge and team work)

11 RepliesThis is what destiny 2 needs to accomplish if it doesn't want to be a colossal failure. 1. Balance your weapons and Map design. Destiny is littered with poor map design and poor balance attempts. Shotguns have always been an issue due to the close quarters style of Bungie map design. This wouldn't be an issue, if Bungie didn't make the TTK to an average of about a full second. It should instantly be a red flag to you when Bungie starts to pull out special ammo because it doesn't fit the map design. It's not hard to balance primaries either. Take your archetypes, find their TTKs, and give them around the same TTK, but at different ranges. With the amount of screw ups in balancing, I highly doubt Bungie even play tests their weapons, and just goes off of salty crucible players (Why else nerf Fusions constantly when they were already under utilized in year 1 - 2?). 2. Nerfs need to stop. The current meta for destiny patches is to simply nerf guns to the ground, make 1 archetype OP, rinse and repeat. It's now much better, but yet sidearms are now ruling the crucible (Wormwood can 3 tap) and are flat out better than primaries in close to medium ranges. Sidearms are supposed to compete with Shotguns and fusions, while not being able to compete with primaries and snipers. Instead, the only guns that can reasonably deal with sidearms are scouts at longer ranges and snipers (depending on the skill of the player). Why is this? Primaries have been nerfed to the ground up to the point where they are the last thing players want to use. They are called Primaries for a reason. 3. Give PVE something to chew on PVE is littered with the same monotonous strikes that are either reskinned or poorly designed. They are not new strikes because you remodel an enemy and call it "Taken Siva Thrall". All in all, there is really only less than 10 actual strikes (rough estimate) that don't involve retextures. Give PVE more content, hell, make a forge for strikes. If it's a central part of a game, it should be one of the most enjoyable, not a chore like it is now. 4. Story Just give Destiny 2 an actual story. It's kind of sad when the only line many people can remember from vanilla is "We've awoken the hive". If anyone actually read this, feel free to disagree or add on. In the end we all want the best for Destiny 2.

6 RepliesSo, we loose the tower. With it all our gear and cosmetics. Alright but did we gain siva, and with it the ability to augment / manufacture weapons, armour, and everything else at an individual level? So since there is no tower to offered structured class builds, can we expect to see more free flowing and highly customizable abilities. I'm not just talking about a warlock being able to use a skip grenade. I'm saying fully customizable abilities such as the ability to edit the size of the AoE, damage fall off from center point. I want to select different debuffs that are applied and alter their effects such as a more specific suppression only targeting 1 ability, and burns, I want to augment the burns from fast ticking to slow ticking, high damage and low damage, short duration long duration. Hey, when I throw a nova bomb , instead of it dealing explosive damage I want it to visually implode dealing no damage, then releasing a Swarm of void seekers with pathing somewhat similar to a shreaker death blast. What about stats, will my intelligence, my strength, my discipline do more then just reduce Cool down? I wanna run a one punch man build on my striker. I want to dump all 12 tiers into strength. That's 720 points. Everything after 300 should still do something, either give me more abilities to activate along melee abilites or further empower my melee or melee abilites. Will gear even provide stats or just light that we can manipulate and spend accordingly on abilities or stats? Health, shield, armour, agility, recovery, how will these be affected? Can we spend a type of limited currency related to each charecter, but non transferable, to invoke change such as increase one while decreasing the other instead of just a skill tree that forces us into set paths. Will our shield take on the element of our sub class. Will gear we wear increase the base value of the armour we wear instead of a multiplier effect for damage reduction/amplification based on enemy light level compared to ours? If so can the same be said for recovery or agility, will we have to balance the gear we arm ourselves entirely differently then before? Will there be a max glimmer limit? Since it's programable matter I should be able to make a poodle that looks extraordinarily adorable, wear said poodle as a fashionable hat, and then throw said adorable hat at an enemy and watch it explode. No, I don't really want to do that, but you get my point. It's programable matter, let me program it. What will happen to the factions. Can we expect the new monarchy faction to be more aggressive and grow now that "the city" is gone or at least destroyed. With the defeat of Crota, can we expect dead orbit to seize the moon and build a space port to combat the air threat of the cabal. What will the future war cult do now that war has finally come, where were they when the cabal attacked? Where is the speaker? I can hear his voice but I can't see him, it's starting to creep me out. Will my ship be more then just a loading bar? Will it become a personal space that houses some of my gear and sparrow? Can I fire my side arm while driving my sparrow? Will we have to build our stuff from scratch? Will we have to Find the materials, build the frame, gather the technology, assemble the parts? Will there be a hover bord that I can quickly take out of my back pack maneuver certain obstacles? Will there be a clan space in a secret bunker with customizable interior that houses shops and storage? Will there be trading? If so, how does bungie plan to handle farming bots with the release of destiny 2 on pc? Will there be friendly fire? Will there be a hard core version where if you die your charecter is deleted? If so, what incentives will there be to do this? Will it have increased stats or a god level of right? Will it be able to transfer gear between the other characters? Will our ghost do more then just unlock things and trigger alarms? Will I actually have to defend it while it is doing somithing? Instead of fighting off waves of enemies will it work on a timer where there is just a flood of enemies and I have to prevent them from reaching my ghost or I will be forced to orbit? Will there be greater rewards for soloing nightfalls and the option to solo strokes? Will there be more forced to orbit instances? If destiny 2 caters to the casual player, what will you offer the hard core player? Why isn't PvE sweaty enough? Pvp can get super sweaty very easily why is it extraordinary hard to find a sweaty instance in PvE? Will we see an advanced patching and enemy engagement? Will the be aggressive flanking while suppressive fire is established? While on patrol will I be ambushed by drops hips, enough to make me think "I Won't survive this". The cabal is a highly trained and dangerously equipped military force, they are obviously trying to kill us, please make it seem so. If we take out the elite or captain, will there be a moment of disorder in the ranks? Will the captains finally be able to blink to the cover they were running to instead of back out into the open? Can I play as one of the Eliksni, will they receive a ghost? We're they not of the light at one point? Do the cabal harness the power of the deep like the hive or the Vex? What about the other 2/3 rds of the hive and Crotas Brother? Will orxs's sister Savathûn rid their faction of the worms? What of the leviathan and the worms Xol, Ur, Yol, and Eir? They mentioned something akin to only using the power of the deep and that it was sentient in its own way and that the traveler granting light was similar? What of the Vex who no longer have Crota running around through the their time line? Or did we just kill Crotas soul and his body is still wreaking havoc out that but is coming for us since we killed his father? I would very much like answers to these and many more please

1 ReplyThe only way I would believe that the tower can be taken down by these 5th Element knock offs is if dinklebot is their leader and the hardest raid boss ever

1 ReplyOk i have an idea for destiny 2 ... really a wish they would do lol . Hows this for an idea. We get to create a 4th guardian and this can be a hybrid guardian. You know how we get 3 subclasses?Void,Arc and solar. Well the 4th guardian can mix subclasses to an extent . For example... You get to choose a solar sub class (1 of GunSlinger, sunbreaker or Sunsinger) Lets say you select sunsinger. If you select that class then you can no longer select another Warlock subclass from a different guardian class nor can you select a solar subclass from the remaining 2 subclasses. your 2nd subclass you select nightstalker and then you cannot select another hunter subclass nor can you select a void subclass from another guardian. That would mean the only arc subclass you can have is striker . That hybrid guardian would have 3 classes of Sunsinger,Nightstalker and Striker... Now you can mix any way as long as its as explained above .. maybe gunslinger, voidwalker striker or gunslinger , stormcaller and Defender... many different choices ... That would surely be a fun guardian to toy with i think..

1 ReplyThe question on everyone's lips: Will Destiny 2 overtake Destiny as the most laggy, SBMM infected mess ever? Let's hope that being good at the game is no longer means for punishment and that laggy teleporting cheats are no longer rewarded with invincibility. Let's hope people who ddos and exploit are punished quickly. Let's hope dedicated servers are on the menu and not baked potatos. Let's hope that skill is rewarded and and not the guy going 1-15 getting the loot. Let's hope bungie have learned their lessons, now that the 3 year Beta is coming to a close. Fix the lag. Flush that smelly SBMM turd down the toilet once and for all. Most importantly; don't lie. We kow this game better than you. We are better at it. We fill the gaps you miss. Find the exploits you can't find. Don't belittle us with lies about 0.04%. Don't tell us SBMM doesn't exist and then say you're adjusting SBMM 6 months later. Don't tell us to do strikes when we try and explain to you that crucible is a laggy, miserable experience. Listen. Learn. Grow and be Honest. And for the love of all that is good and holy, don't nerf fusion rifles.

It is so easy to sit here and complain, but for me there is just as much to praise. I agree that there are many things that could have been done to make this game better, but it has been pretty damn great IMO. I have played 3369 strikes, killed 51788 Acolytes, spent over 20 days playing, had 84,558 Auto Rifle kills, and the list goes on. I would also regard myself as a "casual " as far as the time I have invested. All in all I most definitely have gotten my money's worth out of Destiny and I am pretty sure I will get my money's worth out of D2.

187 RepliesEdited by Odin: 4/7/2017 2:58:11 AMSo, this company wants gamers to pay everything up front based off of what. The same info they provided in 2014 E3 and all the false advertisements? Not many gamers were happy with that info they so freely threw around nonchalantly and didn't come through with it. In fact, since then they have continued to use the same tactics, that their player base has drop significantly that even Activision bragging about 25 million registers doesn't matter one bit. So knowing less then 10, 000 are currently active registers. Their player base had such a significant drop that this last year-and-a-half maybe less PvE gamers have always outweighed their PVP gamers. Yet this company bases their entire game off of PvP. How about actually making a stream that actually shows gamers what they are actually getting with detail like other companies do that don't really have anything to hide? There is only one game I'll pre-order and that is Halo. Reason that is, 343 knows how to persent their game with actual info. Not make statments like this company has. ( it's a secret ) Now before anyone makes a reply to me if you so choose to. Companies that actually make a complete game with an actual ingame story don't keep telling their fanbase it's a secret every single DLC, and stay silent until the last possible moment to only give bits and pieces that tell you nothing about the game. It also don't help knowing Activision will hide reviews as long as they can. I have yet to see since Destiny was released this company actually give info when it's this far out before any DLC is released or even within a 3 month period that gives any significant information that gives gamers an idea on what to expect with some kind of (reinsurance ) But they have no problem asking gamers to fork out all kinds of money on word of mouth? Everyone knows this company rarely even comes close to backing up their own words. Gamers want ( actual information ) not hey! look at this video. This is what you ( might be getting ) but remember our license agreement that we take full advantage of and can change or say whatever we want, when we want and how many times we want that has been abused.... it's our right so you may not get what we will advertise about but will throw all kinds of staments out there to keep you hyped. How about for once in Destinys history this company keep true to their own words and fulfill what they speak of? That alone would make a worlds of difference in how gamers would see this company as a company and can have a significant positive impact. Yes gamers! This is salt and salt that needs to be heard by this company whether you like it or not. They asked us to put the truth out there on how gamers view this and welcome the salt. Both Deej and Cozmo have stated this... So, you can troll this thread all you want, but remember one thing. People don't grow if you baby them, it just allows them to continue to keep doing the samethings over and over as if there is nothing wrong in that. You can take this as rough constructive criticism and work from there, or you can act like most do when gamers are offended about someone talking about this company. Either way It's just my opinion and my opinion can't physically hurt you.

33 RepliesGuys this is a railway map for the hype train to liarsville with frequent stops to nerf city and we only give AF about pvp. So please, pve players that is, do not buy into bungies bull anymore. We need to see MAJOR changes first, like the complete separation of pvp from pve for starters. Unlimited vault space shouldn't be to much to ask either! Nerf everything in pvp, I could care less. But stop taking away the fun from pve bc you morons couldn't figure out balance if it bit you in the ass. Bungie- there is no possibly way to create a balanced playing environment with your map designs along with all the different weapons and player attributes, you morons must see this? Your idea of a constant changing meta is not balance and nvr will be. For the love of god remove pvp or at the very least separate it completely from pve. You know what happens when you take away our fun in pve? We stop playing your game which could be great but sucks bc of all your nerfs across the board. Please get it right the second time around, we have beta tested for 2.5 years now, you know what needs to be done. God damn it DO IT!!!!!

88 RepliesI find it ironic how; Bungie as a whole company, took the weakest "story" route to deny the most basic (and one of the very first) promises ever made to their player base. From the first moments Destiny was announced, the mantra from Bungie was "we want you and your gear to go the whole ten year plan of the Destiny franchise". Then your company created the single worst game engine possible, that hamstringed your own ability to update your own game. But, rather than EVER admit that you guys have made mistake after mistake, and breaking promise after promise to your players; you finally got the balls to deny them even the most long-running promise of them all. So you guys axed the loot going forward, because you're too incompetent to have made the copy/paste code transfer into the (presumably) new engine for D2. *I say *presumably", because it would be an astoundingly horrible, ignorant decision to stick with the same game engine in D2 that gave everyone hell in D1...* So, after three years of steadily "pushing back the darkness" and "reclaiming the Sol system for 'The Light'"; what... suddenly the Dorkness has the balls/might to bypass everything the Players accomplished, they nuke the Tower and the Last City, and THAT weak-ass story-telling line is the best you could push out your anuses to cover for breaking the longest-held promise you had with your players? It's one of the weakest, most-over-used-plot-cop-out-excuses in any type of storytelling medium. I guess I shouldn't be shocked though... Bungie.new has a full three year history of doing everything you guys can to absolutely dick over your players in the worst ways possible. At this point, it would take a -blam!-ing MIRACLE and personal visits by the Gods of Coding and Game-Play design to get me to purchase Destiny 2. There is zero hype for your shit-tier product, and zero tolerance for your base desire to continually screw your own customers. And no amount of Nathan Fillion will make three years of broken promises and unfinished, sub-par game product just fade away.

3 RepliesHow do you expect me to preorder if digital deluxe for pc is not available?
-
Question about preorder. I already preordered a digital copy on PSN. I got the PS4 pro so I'm all set if there's 4k HDR which I'm sure is coming. My question is about the Xbox project Scorpio. I also have Xbox and plan to get D2 for that as well but I'm going to get Scorpio. Will I need to wait to get that version of the game or will it be like PS4 pro when you just get an update with the regular Xbox One game? Please clarify. I sure a lot of Xbox players want to know.
-
Maybe a PvP patrol option would be nice kinda, sort of like the dark zone in the division , would be a lot of fun, kinda a stretch though but maybe have it as an option to select before you drop In to the patrol area and make a delay on when you request to leave, via your ship, like 30 secs or a minute so you can't just leave when someone's after you and for sure no leaving when in combat, and if that's possible maybe incorporate a sort of better loot finds for the risk of going there. Had this idea for the game back on day one so nope didn't get it from the division but it would be a great add to the game.

The only thing I hope for is to not sucked into all the whinning in PvP and the countless nerfs that occurred not to one specific him but the entire class of guns it was rather pointless cause it just went in a never ending loop of nerfs which ultimately made me upset that come a month I'd have to change basically my whole play style just to compete y1 PvP really wasn't that bad I felt pretty balanced I saw every class of weapons used, some more than others I'll admit, but for the most part everyone used there one thing and it worked cause there wasn't a landslide on the weapon classes like you see now. Meaning there is obviously a dominant weapon class and then it just trickles down to the worst like when auto rifles were just awful and I think pulse rifles sat high on the mountain, no one used auto rifles cause they simply couldn't compete and it was sad cause I enjoy being able to use what I want and be able to at least compete with others weapons. This isn't about skill while yes some kids it is they just need to stop complaining like when they use that op weapon and you can use a kinda casual gun and you destroy them and they complain enough and out pops a new nerf that hit a realitivley balanced gun way to hard, tlw for example one of my favorite guns I saw just get absolutely demolished by needs, at first I just went with it but when they completely changed its exotic perk I really got upset but still use and love the gun, bungie please add a gun like twl in D2. But if this same problem comes up in D2 I'll be upset prob still gonna play but it just gets annoying seeing your favorite guns that you use before they become op and after they fall off just get beaten down constantly by nerfs because people complain to much. My only I really care to add about my hopes for Destiny 2
