Local Fireteam Issues

I've seen a couple people posting on here about this issue and wanted to know if it was the same thing I'd been experiencing. My brother and I live in different cities, if I play at his house we're fine, if he plays at mine we can't join into the same fireteam. Is this basically what other people experience? Can internet provider have any impact on this? What are the actual fixes if the issue hasn't actually been resolved by bungie? Thanks very much!

 • This issue should have been alleviated with the 2.6.0 update. This is stated in the most recently published news article: https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/45776/7_This-Week-at-Bungie--03232017 Your ISP should be able to troubleshoot with you. You must have UPnP enabled on your home network in order for multiple consoles to connect to Destiny at once (your ISP will also be able to help you access your control panel and make the configuration). Additionally, Bungie's extensive Network Troubleshooting Guide can also provide you with some more information about configuring your network setup to allow an optimal connection to Destiny. https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Troubleshoot?oid=12915
