Anyone else no have Outbreak Prime?
I can't be the only one who doesn't have this damn thing. Would it honestly be worth going after? If so, who wants to give this old guy a hand?

The Outbreak Prime is the only exotic weapon I need. But I need to play/beat the raid AND THEN have two other people to do the lengthy quest in order to get the weapon. Maybe tomorrow it'll ignite some of my friends to get on and play the freaking raid now.

I don't have it, either. I haven't run Wrath of the Machine cause I don't want to watch a YouTube video about how to do it. I'd rather just learn.

I dont have it but from what i heard its meh at best compares to other exotics like dark drinker

I don't have outbreak prime either and I have no plans to get it because the stuff you have to do to get it is ridiculous in my opinion.

Some quests are tough, or really tough, but satisfying and manageable to solo, for the most part. Others are just stupid. This gun falls into the second category.

I'll never square dance in space with strangers again and endure the inevitable rudeness of strangers for significant stretches of time lost forever. Give me a 3-man random strike or 12 minute PVP every time over those purposely over-engineered time-wasters labeled raids.

I sat on this quest for nearly six months never thinking I'd get it done. To be honest, kind of resented it because I felt being forced into the co-op of finding and working with two other players in a Fireteam for what seemed a prolonged period including another raid run was even worse than the lottery of raiding via lfg and I don't like the idea of my success or failure at the game being the responsibility or concern of people I've never met- even after nearly three years of it! Anyway, posted on Recruitment here. One guy responded asking if it was ok if his friend joined us. 'No probs' says I. Get it done thanks to their enthusiasm and Google, including the raid run for the extra bits at the end, in a few hours. Actually the ad hock raid group were great, wiped once at Aksis. Not that difficult at all and well worth it: gun has bags of personality and is extremely effective.

It will continue collecting dust in my vault. I've only completed about 5 exotic weapon quests. I can't even tell you how many exotic bounties I've gotten, never started, and then deleted to make room for regular bounties. I've been here since day 1. I'm a very lazy destiny player. I can't motivate myself to grind the same shit over and over again lol. The day I finish the OBP quest, will be the last day I play Destiny for at least a month. I burn out very fast with this game these days so I play in moderation. Age of Triumph will probably bring me back for a couple of weeks than I'll take another long break until D2.
