Not receiving Silver that I purchased

I a few weeks ago now was having trouble getting into Destiny, servers down etc, which finally changed. Shortly after this I purchased some silver & was charged but never received. Keep getting error that says it will show next time I log on but I have logged on a few times since & nothing. Will this be fixed or do I have to contact Microsoft to refund my money? Thank you!
