Wow.
Everyone BEGS for raids, now all of a sudden Skolas is the trend?
Because from what I remember, more people hated it & Poe in general.
While you're all asking for Bungie to give your toys back, I rather play a new game

Bump.

This update should make everything relevant. It is an oversight to leave out one thing

-
Hated it because they couldnt beat it. Those that could beat it, enjoyed it.
-
I beat Skolas a handful of times and got crappy loot from it after using etheric light for my favorite raid and tower weapons & armor...smh!!!! Skolas was a pain to beat, if we had a check point at the Servitor boss fight before him or any kind of check point or if it was a 4 man Strike mission similar to Borderlands then it wouldn't be so bad to see that big SOB and his nasty scorch cannon with the new Spring update. Other than that I'm glad Fallen meat head was left behind!!!!!!

Bump!
-
I remember people loving it. It was just a few design choices like not changing the modifiers/rooms for pre skolas areas each week or the no checkpoints. Other than those things people really enjoyed it.
-
People probably hated it because it was hard, some of the modifiers in there made it impossible to accomplish, although some did complete it.
-
The hate about it was mostly about the 'no CP' issue no?
-
People have been calling for old Raids AND Skolas to be brought up for ages
-
i can and DO still play Skolas whenever i can, it'd just be a bit funner if it was in higher demand, or in other words, more relevant. nothing was "taken" away (save the enemy factions).
-
I would too, which is why this is good. While they go and make a new game, they can simply update these old raids we've been asking for. I personally don't care about the old raids, I've done them enough times to be done with them. I might do some old challenges to collect some nice looking ornaments, but thats it.

While ur at it switch to a different forum page as well

Too late

Then go buddy, no one's stopping you :)

I wasn't asking for permission. I've played this game a long time & it baffles me how people still stick up for a developer that purposefully takes away paid material to sell it back for their lack of actual new stuff. The entirety of ROI is essentially yr1 if you haven't noticed. Every update: "We're giving you yr1 guns" "We're giving you yr1 strikes" "We're giving you yr1 raids" How do you access this updated content? $30 for a lackluster DLC that couldn't survive on its own. All this time we've could've gotten new bosses, new stories, new raid, but fan boys are cool with any pole lodged up their ass
-
It's a free update to say goodbye to Destiny 1. All I'm asking is that they include Skolas cause he was a part of year 1. And I personally loved him for the 3 months that he was relevant. No hate bro. Just asking. ✌🏻🍪

Its a free update for a paid DLC. You need to buy ROI to benefit from the free updated content, which is what the above mentioned. Its all y1 stuff, resold to us.

Hopefully you learn now so when you get older, you know when you're getting screwed over. I can't help everyone
-
Not everyone is as cynical as you, buddy. Some people appreciate the hit of nostalgia this update is bringing, even if it's technically just old content refurbished.
