Why or why not?
For example, I've purchased the Mass Effect series on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC since I started with the 360, ended up only having a PS3 and wanting to play it, and then going over to PC since it was where I wanted to be.
Another example is I bought Tomb Raider (2013) on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One since I really liked that game.
Is once enough or do you like to buy remasters (not including remakes)?
I know this doesn't really count for the PC crowd, but there are instances where PC players buy more than once if a game is remastered.
Are you for or against it?

Sometimes. For Example: I bought both The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 on PlayStation first, and bought them again on Steam and enjoyed them infinitely more.
-
I considered horizon 2 but never did, thankfully halo reach is free backwards compatible so i sometimes play that.
-
Have a friend who bought Titanfall 2 on both Xbox and PS4. He doesn't even play it
-
I've bought castle crashers and skyrim twice that's pretty much it

A while ago, I would've said no, but now my PS3 is a brick and I have no way to play my PS3 and PS2 games, so I was glad to buy remastered games and PS2 games for my PS4.
How many times did I say PS in that sentence?
1 ReplyEdited by Psychic Donuts: 3/16/2017 10:18:02 PMRarely. It depends on the reason.
-
It depends on the game and how much I love it. Also depends on how much it costs, I mean I originally bought metro redux for full price on Xbox one because it was about £25-30 at the time I got it and I loved 2033. I then later on bought metro redux on PS4 because I loved it on Xbox and I was able to get it for about £15 on the ps store. I also bought mirrors edge catalyst for full price on Xbox, may have been day one order from Amazon, and I fairly recently bought it again on PS4 because I loved it and thanks to ps plus it was only £10. So yeah I'm happy to repurchase a game for another console but it depends on what game it is, how much I love it and how much it costs.

Yupp! Rocket League Minecraft Dark Souls 3 Dark Souls Fallout 4 Warframe (free but still counts, kek)
-
2 RepliesI feel devs shouldn't charge you to play a 360 game on the one, and same for the sony side
-
I don't see any reason why I should, unless the game is a remaster or remake.
-
Generally no, but I do make exceptions. I rebought the Skyrim remaster... Actually come to think of it that's the only rerelease I've purchased. I've thought about grabbing The Witcher 3 Complete Edition just to get all of the achievements again, but I haven't let myself be that stupid. Yet. It's probably gonna happen though. Lol.

Only the Orange Box and Minecraft, which I have on both my XBOX and PC. Everything else is either one or the other.
-
Unfortunately i have purchased borderlands, The resident evil games, devil may cry 4 and the darksiders games on a few.
-
Edited by nbah3: 3/18/2017 12:42:57 AMBorderlands 2, ps4, ps3, vita, pc and xbox one. I honestly don't know why, I like that game but not that much
-
Skyrim, GTA V, a couple of the Sonic games, Jedi Outcast, Borderlands, and MCC to a lesser extent. There's probably more that I missed.
-
1 ReplyYes and no, I buy remasters from time to time like Twilight Princess HD and Bulletstorm: Full Clip; but I don't double dip on games. The only exception is Dark Souls, I bought it on 360, then when I found out my friends were playing on PS3; my wife got it for me on PS3.
-
I have done this with 3 games.... Minecraft on PsVita and again on Ps4... both times on sale. Terraria on PS3, PsVita and PS4... bought the PS4 version for $3. And Skyrim on PS3 and Skyrim SE on PS4. If my PS3 still worked or I still had my PS vita, I wouldn't have bought any of these games again. But, I did. I'm a whale, I guess.
-
Not typically but I have in the past. My ps4 is primarily for single player games. My xb1 mostly multiplayer stuff and my pc has a wide assortment of both.
-
Sometimes. When I switched from 360 to PS4, I bought some Remastered games on ps4
-
Very rarely, it depends on the game. I bought a Borderlands 2 on both the 360 and the PS3 ( got it dirt cheap as a part of PS+ sale ). I bought the Tomb Raider reboot on the PS3, the 360 and the PS4 ( because I loved it and because it sold poorly and I wanted Crystal Dynamics to make a sequel ). And of course I own Destiny on the PS4 and the Xbox One.

-
i mean i had to buy Destiny, Taken King, Skyrim, and the Halos on the transfer from 360 to One
-
Owned Transformers FoC and WFC on: -PC (I thought my crappy laptop could run it) -PS3 (the original platform I had it on) -Xbox 360 (after my friend switched) -Xbox One (I bought the re-release of FoC on XBOne cause I got rid of my 360)
-
Rarely, depends on the game (think I owned Borderlands 2 on PS3, 360, PC & PS4)
-
3 RepliesBorderlands 2 on: -PC -Xbox One -PS4 -Xbox 360
-
4 RepliesIf I want a game on PC that I have on console, I pirate it.
