For those that have never been to the Lighthouse,
I doubt Bungie will try fixing this anyway. After months of trying to get to the Lighthouse via getting a carry from streamers (raffles) or putting a group of my own it seems inevitable that most of us will never get there. By no way am I bashing the pros or better players. I would like to get there at least once in my life just to have that grimoire card. With that being said it seems that if and when you try going into Trials with your own group after you get a couple wins your basically matching against the really good players and you hit the wall. Thus this stops you in your tracks. In my observation when lfging people that wanted to play I would find out people were trying there hardest to get to the lighthouse and when I wasn't good enough to there standards they would play a few games and just want to leave. I give them the heads up that I'm not the greatest player in Trials. Also that I've never been to the Lighthouse. I do have my moments to where I have my good games. If you look at my stats I know they aren't the best. I play just to have fun. Also for the challenge of getting achievements and showing that I accomplished that feet.
So my question is why not make it to where matching is based on a K/D, ELO or something along those lines so that people can enjoy things again. And have better chances of getting to things like the Lighthouse. It worked for Halo so why can't it work for Destiny.

4 Replieswell i am sorry but i am going to have to be completely honest with you. If you haven't made it flawless yet, it may just be your fault. Every damn day theres paid carry ads or recov ads on the forums. It an cost as little as 3$s I've seen, and even without money, some do recoveries for free. Every time i see a lower viewed streamer its an opportunity to play with them. If they're good you can hop in a line bc its not too crowded. boom, there you go. Most of the population has left now so it leaves the sweats. You probably have a good chance of finding one person who is good enough yo carry or have ties w others I don't think sbmm should be in trials. call me crazy, but it just seems bad at the moment because of all the 2k elos trying to win boost. Each person should play all different types of people on the skill gap to improve. Not saying it is your fault entirely, but sometimes i just wonder how people haven't yet. if you want to hmu anytime your welcome, ive got slightly above average stats and i don't promise anything but i can still play with you :)
