Is it REALLY that big of a deal?
Everyone's items become obsolete at the launch of The Taken King and nobody bats an eye. Everyone's items become obselete at the launch of an entirely separate game and EVERYONE LOSES THEIR MINDS!!! Calm down. If you really think it's an atrocity beyond compare then boycott the sequel. We all know you're going to buy it anyways.

I'm glad I can keep how my guardian looks, other than that I really don't mind at all having to start over again. It is a new game, not a expansion, after all.
